TSC22 domain family protein 3 (TSC22D3) protects T-cells from IL2 deprivation-induced apoptosis through the inhibition of FOXO3A transcriptional activity which initiates the down-regulation of the pro-apoptotic factor BCL2L11. tRNA-splicing endonuclease subunit Sen15 (TSEN15) is a member of the SEN15 family. tRNA splicing is an essential process required for cell growth and division. TSEN15 is a subunit of the tRNA splicing endonuclease. TSEN15 cleaves pre-tRNA at the 5' and 3' splice sites to release the intron.

Thyroid-stimulating hormone (also known as TSH or thyrotropin) is a hormone synthesized and secreted by thyrotrope cells in the anterior pituitary gland which regulates the endocrine function of the thyroid gland.

TSH is a glycoprotein and consists of two subunits, the alpha and the beta subunit.
The a (alpha) subunit is identical to that of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), luteinising hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).

Tetraspanin 7, also known as TSPAN7, is part of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, which is also familiar as the tetraspanin family. Most of these proteins mediate signal transduction events which play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth as well as motility. Furthermore, TSPAN7 is associated with X-linked mental retardation in addition to neuropsychiatric diseases such as Huntington's chorea, fragile X syndrome and myotonic dystrophy. Lately, TSPAN7 has been acknowledged as a key immune system target in type 1 diabetes.

TSSC4 is a member of the TSSC4 family. TSSC4 protein is one of quite a few tumor-suppressing subtransferable fragments found in the imprinted gene domain of 11p15.5, a significant tumor-suppressor gene section. TSSK6 is highly expressed in the testis and lowly expressed in the colon, prostate, thymus, small intestine, and peripheral blood leukocytes. TSSK6 interacts with the heatshock proteins HSPA8, HSPCB, and HAPA1A; these interactions seem to be essential for TSSK6 kinase activity. TSTD1 is localized around the nuclear membranes. TSTD1 is expressed in a number of human tissues, including the kidney, liver, skeletal muscle, heart, colon, thymus, spleen, placenta and lung. TSTD1 may participate in cyanide detoxification, the formation of iron-sulfur proteins, and the modification of sulfur-containing enzymes.

Thiosulfate Sulfurtransferase Like Domain Containing 3, also known as TSTD3 contains 1 rhodanese domain which is characterized by an active site cysteine residue that has the ability to bind sulfane sulfur and catalyse sulfur transfer.

Tetratricopeptide repeat protein 1 (TTC1) is comprised of 292 amino acids with 3 TPR motifs, such as a Galpha16-binding protein. This interaction is confirmed both in vitro and in transfected mammalian cells, where TTC1 also binds to a number of other Galpha proteins. TTC1 interacts with Ha-Ras especially in its active form. TTC1 also interacts with the GAP domain of NF1.

Transthyretin (TTR) is a circulating and abundant tetramer, which functions as a carrier protein of thyroid hormone and retinol binding protein. It is primarily produced in the liver, but also in the brain and eye. Mutations in the TTR gene cause the protein to dissociate into monomers that after misfolding assemble into amyloid fibrils deposits in a variety of organs. TTR is also the only gene known to be associated with familial TTR amyloidosis. The diseases that originate from mutations in the TTR gene include amyloidotic polyneuropathy, euthyroid hyperthyroxinaemia, amyloidotic vitreous opacities, cardiomyopathy, oculoleptomeningeal amyloidosis, meningocerebrovascular amyloidosis, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc.
