Background
Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein (GFAP), a key intermediate filament protein predominantly found in astrocytes, plays a fundamental role in the central nervous system. Initially recognized for its structural functions, GFAP has emerged as a multifaceted molecule with implications in neural development, synaptic plasticity, and various neurological disorders. This research delves into the realm of GFAP human recombinant protein, shedding light on its structural properties, physiological significance, and its diverse roles in both health and disease.
Structural Complexity of GFAP:
GFAP belongs to the family of intermediate filament proteins, conferring structural support to astrocytes. Its unique structure comprises a central α-helical rod domain flanked by non-helical head and tail domains. This structural complexity allows GFAP to form stable filaments, providing structural integrity to astrocytes and contributing to the architecture of the central nervous system.
Physiological Functions in Glial Cells:
Beyond its structural role, GFAP participates in various physiological processes within glial cells. It is involved in the regulation of astrocyte morphology, motility, and migration, crucial for their interactions with neurons and blood vessels. Additionally, GFAP contributes to the formation and maintenance of the blood-brain barrier, highlighting its significance in the brain's homeostasis.
Implications in Neurological Disorders:
Aberrant GFAP expression and aggregation are associated with several neurological disorders. In Alexander disease, a rare neurodegenerative disorder, mutations in the GFAP gene lead to the formation of GFAP aggregates, contributing to disease pathology. Moreover, elevated levels of GFAP in cerebrospinal fluid serve as a biomarker for various neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer's disease, and multiple sclerosis, indicating its involvement in the brain's response to injury and neuroinflammation.
GFAP in Neural Regeneration:
Recent studies have unveiled GFAP’s role in neural regeneration and repair processes. In response to brain injury, GFAP-expressing astrocytes become reactive, forming a glial scar that isolates damaged areas. While this scar formation initially limits tissue damage, persistent scar formation can impede neural regeneration. Understanding the dynamics of GFAP expression in reactive astrocytes is crucial for developing therapies that promote neural regeneration following brain injuries or neurodegenerative diseases.
GFAP human recombinant protein, once thought of as a structural element in astrocytes, has proven to be a pivotal player in the complex landscape of glial biology and neurological disorders. Its intricate functions extend beyond providing structural support, encompassing roles in neural development, disease pathology, and tissue repair. As research continues to uncover the nuances of GFAP’s involvement in health and disease, it offers promising avenues for developing targeted therapies and diagnostic tools, emphasizing its significance in the intricate workings of the central nervous system.

Background
Human resistin is an adipokine primarily secreted by adipose tissue, mainly in response to obesity and inflammatory conditions.
Resistin Function
Resistin takes part in insulin resistance, which can be the cause of the development of type 2 diabetes. Resistin can also affect glucose metabolism and insulin signalling.
Regulation
Levels of resistin are influenced by factors such as inflammation, obesity and certain hormones. It tends to increase in conditions associated with obesity and metabolic syndrome.
Clinical Relevance
Elevated levels of resistin have been associated with obesity-related conditions, cardiovascular diseases, and metabolic disorders. Resisting is considered as a potential biomarker for these conditions.
Resistin Mechanism
Resistin promotes insulin resistance through different pathways such as the modulation of inflammatory processes and the inhibition of insulin signaling in target tissues like liver and muscle.
Research
Ongoing studies are exploring resistin’s role in metabolic regulation, the exact mechanisms of action of resistin and its potential as a therapeutic target for treating metabolic diseases.
Overall, resistin is a critical factor in metabolic health, mainly in the context of diabetes and obesity.

Introduction
Recombinant Human Sonic Hedgehog is part of a small group of secreted proteins that are vital for development in both vertebrates and invertebrates. 3 mammalian hedgehog genes (sonic, desert, Indian) share about 60% homology. The Human Sonic Hedgehog is 99% homologous to the mouse gene. Sonic HedgeHog is a protein that is vital in guding the early embryo. It has been associated as the major inductive signal in patterning of the ventral neural tube, the anterior-posterior limb axis, and the ventral somites. Sonic HedgeHog binds to the patched receptor, which functions in association with smoothened, to activate the transcription of target genes. In the absence of sonic HedgeHog, patched receptor represses the constitutive signaling activity of smoothened. Sonic HedgeHog also regulates another factor, the gli oncogene. Sonic HedgeHog intercellular signal is essential for a various patterning events during development: signal produced by the notochord that induces ventral cell fate in the neural tube and somites, and the polarizing signal for patterning of the anterior-posterior axis of the developing limb bud. Sonic HedgeHog exhibits both floor plate- and motor neuron-inducing activity. Mutations in a long-range Sonic HedgeHog enhancer located in an intron of the limb region 1 gene result in preaxial polydactyly.

Introduction
Kallikrein-3 (KLK3) is a part of the kallikrein-related peptidase family. Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having various physiological functions. Numerous kallikreins take part in carcinogenesis and some may be prospective cancer and other disease biomarkers. Kallikrein-3 is 1 of the 15 kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19 and is a protease present in seminal plasma. KLK3 hydrolyzes semenogelin-1 consequently leading to the liquefaction of the seminal coagulum. KLK3 acts normally in the liquefaction of seminal coagulum, probably by hydrolysis of the high molecular mass seminal vesicle protein. Serum level of the KLK3 protein, called PSA in the clinical setting, is beneficial in the diagnosis and monitoring of prostatic carcinoma.

Introduction
Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase (GPI) is a part of the GPI family whose members encode multifunctional phosphoglucose isomerase proteins involved in energy pathways. GPI is a dimeric enzyme which catalyzes the reversible isomerization of glucose-6-phosphate and fructose-6-phosphate. Mammalian GPI also functions as a tumor-secreted cytokine and an angiogenic factor (AMF) which stimulates endothelial cell motility. In addition, GPI is a neurotrophic factor (Neuroleukin) for spinal and sensory neurons. GPI performs in different capacities inside and outside the cell. In the cytoplasm, GPI is involved in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis, while outside the cell it acts as a neurotrophic factor for spinal and sensory neurons.
Defects in the GPI gene cause the nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia and a severe enzyme deficiency can be linked to hydrops fetalis, immediate neonatal death and neurological impairment.

Introduction
The mammaglobin gene was first identified using a differential screening approach directed at the isolation of novel, human breast cancer-associated genes. Mammaglobin encodes a 10 kDa glycoprotein and is distantly relaetd to a family of epithelial secretory proteins that includes rat estramustine-binding protein/prostatein and human Clara cell 10 kDa protein (CC10)/uteroglobin. Mammaglobin, a mammary-specific member of the uterglobin family, is known to be overexpressed in human breast cancer. Studies suggest that mammaglobin is one of the first relatively mammary-specific and mammary-sensitive markers (85%). Mammaglobin may be valuable used in a panel with BRST-2 (GCDFP-15) and ER in evaluating tumors of unknown primary sites.
SCGB2A2 (the mammaglobin gene) is located on chromosome 11, at locus 11q13. SCGB2A2 is member of the secretoglobin superfamily of which is a group of small dimeric secreted and sometimes glycosylated proteins. Expressed mainly in mucosa, secretoglobins appear to be involved in cell signalling, immune response, chemotaxis, and might also serve as transporters for steroid hormones in humans. -

Introduction
GHBP is a transmembrane receptor for growth hormone. Binding of growth hormone to the receptor leads to receptor dimerization and the activation of an intra- and intercellular signal transduction pathway leading to growth. A common alternate allele of this gene, called GHRd3, lacks exon three and has been well-characterized. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Laron syndrome, also known as the growth hormone insensitivity syndrome (GHIS), a disorder characterized by short stature. Other splice variants, including one encoding a soluble form of the protein (GHRtr), have been observed but have not been thoroughly characterized.

Introduction
Galectin-3 mediates with the alpha-3, beta-1 integrin the stimulation by cspg4 of endothelial cells migration. Galectin-3 plays an necessary part during the acquisition of vasculogenic mimicry and angiogenic properties associated with melanoma progression. LGALS3 overexpression is highly expressed in early stages of papillary carcinoma, and its expression intensity declines during tumor progression. Serum levels of LGALS3 are high in patients with thyroid malignancy but there is considerable overlap in serum LGALS3 concentrations between those with benign and malignant nodular thyroid disease. LGLAS3 takes part as an immune regulator to inhibit T-cell immune responses and promote tumor growth, as a result providing a new mechanism for tumor immune tolerance.

Introduction
Plasma protease C1 inhibitor (SERPING1) is a part of the serpin superfamily of serine protease inhibitors. SERPING1 plays an important role in regulating activation of both the complement and contact systems. That isdue to the fact that SERPING1 regulates the activation of complement factor C1 in addition to the activity of activated C1 by coupling with the active catalytic site at the light chains of C1r and C1s. SERPING1 insufficiency results in hereditary angioedema, which is characterized by recurrent episodes of localized angioedema of the skin, gastrointestinal mucosa or upper respiratory mucosa.
