    • Introduction

Dengue fever is affected by 1 of 4 closely linked virus serotypes of the genus Flavivirus, family Flaviviridae. One might have dengue fever infected by the different serotype virus after the primary infection. Detection of particular antibodies to dengue viruses is used for the diagnosis in clinic. Recently, lateral flow rapid test products have become a most suitable and known method in the clinical diagnosis. Though, there is difficulty for manufacturers to have the dengue antigens with a whole coverage for Dengue IgG & IgM recognition for all 4 serotype infections as well as with colloid gold binding ability. 8 dengue antigens have been established for the lateral flow products which are well defined for their coverage of dengue IgG & IgM recognition. The researcher can select the products below based on their own specific application.

    Description

The E.Coli derived HEV protein contains the HEV immunodominant regions from ORF2 452-617 a.a. having a Mw. of 44.3 kDa. HEV ORF2 protein is fused to a 26kDa GST tag and purified by standard chromatography techniques.

    Formulation

    25mM Tris-HCl, 1mM EDTA, 0.5M urea and 50% glycerol.

    Purity

HEV ORF2 protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining).

    More Info

    • Introduction

Hepatitis E virus (HEV), the major etiologic agent of enterically transmitted non-A, non-B hepatitis worldwide, is a spherical, non-enveloped, single stranded RNA virus that is approximately 32 to 34 nm in diameter. HEV belongs to a genus of HEV-like viruses (unassigned genus). HEV has a single-stranded polyadenylated RNA genome of approximately 8 kb. Based on its physicochemical properties it is presumed to be a calici-like virus.

    • Stability

HEV ORF2 protein although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.

    • Applications

HEV ORF2 antigen is suitable for ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for detection of HEV with minimal specificity problems.

    • Specificity

      Immunoreactive with sera HEV-infected individuals.

    • Purification Method

HEV ORF2 protein was purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

    • Introduction

Short/branched chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (ACADSB) belongs to the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family of enzymes which catalyze the dehydrogenation of acyl-CoA derivatives in the metabolism of fatty acids or branch chained amino acids. ACADSB catalyzes the degradation of L-isoleucine while having the highest affinity for (s)-2-methylbutyryl-CoA, isobutyryl-CoA and 2-methylhexanoyl-CoA as substrates. ACADSB may use valproyl-CoA as substrate. ACADSB gene defects cause the short/branched-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency (SBCADD), which is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by an increase of 2-methylbutyrylglycine and 2-methylbutyrylcarnitine in blood and urine.

    • Introduction

Cytokine-like protein 1 (CYTL1) is a secreted protein. CYTL1 is expressed in CD34+ cell populations of bone marrow and cord blood which function as hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells. However, CYTL1 is not expressed in CD34- cells. Experiments with knock-out mice (Cytl1-/-) propose that CYTL1 is essential for the maintenance of cartilage homeostasis rather than cartilage and bone development, and loss of CYTL1 function is linked with experimental osteoarthritic cartilage destruction in mice.

    • Synonyms

      Cytokine-like protein 1, Protein C17, CYTL1, C4orf4, C17.

    • Physical Appearance

      Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

    • Stability

Store lyophilized protein at -20°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4°C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4°C.

    • Solubility

It is recommended to add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5 mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. CYTL1 is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.

    • Introduction

CD81 antigen isoform 1, also known as CD81, is part of the tetraspanin family. CD81 interacts directly with immunoglobulin superfamily member 8 (IGSF8, CD316) and CD36. In B cells, CD81 is part of a complex with CD21, CD19 and Leu13. Furthermore, this complex decreases the threshold for B cell activation through B cell receptors by linking Ag specific recognition and CD21 mediator recognition. While on T cells CD81 connects with CD4 and CD8 and provides a costimulatory signal with CD3.

    • Introduction

Vascular endothelial growth factor is an important signaling protein involved in both vasculogenesis and angiogenesis. As its name implies, VEGF activity has been mostly studied on cells of the vascular endothelium, although it does have effects on a number of other cell types (e.g. stimulation monocyte/macrophage migration, neurons, cancer cells, kidney epithelial cells ).VEGF mediates increased vascular permeability, induces angiogenesis, vasculogenesis and endothelial cell growth, promotes cell migration, and inhibits apoptosis. In vitro, VEGF has been shown to stimulate endothelial cell mitogenesis and cell migration. VEGF is also a vasodilator and increases microvascular permeability and was originally referred to as vascular permeability factor.
Elevated levels of this protein is linked to POEMS syndrome, also known as Crow-Fukase syndrome. Mutations in this gene have been associated with proliferative and nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy.

HIF1A has a role as a master transcriptional monitor of the adaptive response to hypoxia. Under hypoxic conditions HIF1A activates the transcription of over 40 genes, including, erythropoietin, glucose transporters, glycolytic enzymes, vascular endothelial growth factor, and genes whose protein products increase oxygen release or facilitate metabolic adaptation to hypoxia. HIF1A functions as an essential role in embryonic vascularization, tumor angiogenesis and pathophysiology of ischemic disease.

    • Introduction

Secretoglobin Family 1D, Member 1 (SCGB1D1) belongs to the lipophilin subfamily, part of the uteroglobin superfamily, and is an ortholog of prostatein (which is the major secretory glycoprotein of the rat ventral prostate gland). SCGB1D1 binds androgens and other steroids. In addition SCGB1D1 binds chemotherapeutic drugs during the prostate cancer treatment. Steroid hormones regulate the SCGB1D1 transcription. SCGB1D1 is secreted into extracellular space. SCGB1D1 gene product represents one component of a heterodimeric molecule found in human tears whose elution profile is consistent with prostatein (which is a tetrameric molecule comprised of 3 peptide components in heterodimers).
