Introduction
Vascular endothelial growth factoris an important signaling proteininvolved in both vasculogenesisand angiogenesis. As its name implies, VEGF activity has been mostly studied on cells of the vascular endothelium, although it does have effects on a number of other cell types (e.g. stimulation monocyte/macrophagemigration, neurons, cancer cells, kidney epithelial cells ).VEGF mediates increased vascular permeability, induces angiogenesis, vasculogenesis and endothelial cell growth, promotes cell migration, and inhibits apoptosis. In vitro, VEGF has been shown to stimulate endothelial cell mitogenesisand cell migration. VEGF is also a vasodilator and increases microvascular permeability and was originally referred to as vascular permeability factor.
Elevated levels of this protein is linked to POEMS syndrome, also known as Crow-Fukase syndrome. Mutations in this gene have been associated with proliferative and nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy. -

Introduction
FGF-basic is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members bind heparin and possess broad mitogenic and angiogenic activities. This protein has been implicated in diverse biological processes, such as limb and nervous system development, wound healing, and tumor growth. The mRNA for this gene contains multiple polyadenylation sites, and is alternatively translated from AUG and non-AUG (CUG) initiation codons resulting in five different isoforms with distinct properties. The CUG-initiated isoforms are localized in the nucleus and are responsible for the intracrine effect, whereas, the AUG-initiated form is mostly cytosolic and is responsible for the paracrine and autocrine effects of this FGF.
The heparin-binding growth factors are angiogenic agents in vivo and are potent mitogens for a variety of cell types in vitro. there are differences in the tissue distribution and concentration of these 2 growth factors. -

Introduction
Fibroblast growth factor 13 (FGF-13) is a member of the large FGF family which has at least 23 members. Most of its members are binding growth factors with a core 120 amino acid (aa) FGF domain which allows for a mutual tertiary structure. Human and mouse FGF13 are 245 aa proteins which arise from genes that show N-terminal alternative splicing. Transcripts for 245 aa, 199 aa, 226 aa, 192 aa and 255 aa have been identified in human and mouse, with almost complete cross-species aa identity among all splice forms (greater than 98%). FGF13 is identified in the fetal ependyma, dorsal root and cranial ganglia, both atrial and ventricular myocardium, and in renal collecting duct-associated mesenchyme.

Introduction
Endocrine gland-derived vascular endothelial growth factor (EG-VEGF) induces proliferation, migration, and fenestration in capillary endothelial cells derived from endocrine glands. Its expression is induced by hypoxia and is restricted to the steroidogenic glands (ovary, testis, adrenal, and placenta). Its expression is often complementary to the expression of VEGF (MIM 192240), suggesting that these molecules function in a coordinated manner. EG-VEGF potently contracts gastrointestinal (gi) smooth muscle. Induces proliferation, migration and fenestration (the formation of membrane discontinuities) in capillary endothelial cells derived from endocrine glands. Has little or no effect on a variety of other endothelial and non-endothelial cell types.

Introduction
Basic fibroblast growth factor is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This protein functions as a modifier of endothelial cell migration and proliferation, as well as an angiogenic factor. It acts as a mitogen for a variety of mesoderm- and neuroectoderm-derived cells in vitro, thus is thought to be involved in organogenesis. Three alternatively spliced variants encoding different isoforms have been described. The heparin-binding growth factors are angiogenic agents in vivo and are potent mitogens for a variety of cell types in vitro. There are differences in the tissue distribution and concentration of these 2 growth factors.

Introduction
Pleiotrophin (Osteoblast-Specific Factor-1, OSF-1) contains 136 amino acid residues. The sequence is very rich in cationic amino acids (24% of the residues); lysine cluster sequences are found in the N-terminal and C-terminal ends of the structure.
The OSF-1 gene was shown by Northern blotting analysis to be expressed in mouse calvarial osteoblast-enriched cells and in mouse brain tissues, but not in thymus, spleen, kidney, liver, lung, testis or heart. Pleiotrophin has the ability to promote adhesion, migration, expansion, and differentiation of human osteoprogenitor cells. In addition to certain types of cancer, the embryonic growth and differentiation factor pleiotrophin is found also in adults in inflammatory diseases. In osteoarthritis, pleiotrophin is especially expressed in early stages, and its concentrations in the synovial fluid could serve as a marker for the progress of the disease. Pleitrophin might be involved in cartilage repair in osteoarthritis, in particular, in earlier stages. -

Introduction
A human infecting coronavirus (viral pneumonia) called 2019 novel coronavirus, 2019-nCoV was found in the fish market at the city of Wuhan, Hubei province of China on December 2019.The 2019-nCoV shares an 87% identity to the 2 bat-derived severe acute respiratory syndrome 2018 SARS-CoV-2 located in Zhoushan of eastern China. 2019-nCoV has an analogous receptor-BD-structure to that of 2018 SARS-CoV, even though there is a.a. diversity so thus the 2019-nCoV might bind to ACE2 receptor protein (angiotensin-converting enzyme 2) in humans. While bats are probably the host of 2019-nCoV, researchers suspect that animal from the ocean sold at the seafood market was an intermediate host. RSCU analysis proposes that the 2019-nCoV is a recombinant within the viral spike glycoprotein between the bat coronavirus and an unknown coronavirus.

Background
Leptin is a~16 kDa protein which is encoded by the obese gene. Leptin is a hormone which participates in regulating body weight, reproductive function and metabolism. leptin is expressed predominantly by adipocytes, which supports the idea that body weight is sensed as the total mass of fat in the body. Smaller amounts of leptin are also secreted by cellsin the epithelium of the stomach and in the placenta. Leptin receptors are highly expressed in areas of the hypothalamus which regulates body weight, as well as in T lymphocytes and vascular endothelial cells.

Introduction
C1QBP binds to the globular "heads" of c1q thus inhibiting c1 activation. C1QBP interacts with a wide range of ligands and is implicated in cell signaling. C1QBP associates with C1r and C1s in order to yield the first component of the serum complement system. C1QBP protein has been identified as the p32 subunit of pre-mRNA splicing factor SF2, as well as a hyaluronic acid-binding protein.
C1QBP is a new marker of tumor cells and tumor-associated macrophages/myeloid cells in hypoxic/metabolically deprived areas of tumors.
Mitochondrial C1QBP is a critical mediator of p14ARF-induced apoptosis.
C1QBP functions as a chemotactic factor for immature dendritic cells, and migration is mediated through ligation of both C1QBP and cC1qR/CR.
C1QBP overexpression successfully blocks mRNA accumulation from the adenovirus major late transcription unit (MLTU) and stimulates RNA polymerase II carboxy-terminal domain phosphorylation in virus-infected cells.
C1QBP binds with Hepacivirus core protein on CD8+ and CD4+ positive t-cells and inactivates lck and akt. -

Introduction
Fibroblast growth factor 16 (FGF16) is a member of the large FGF family, whose members are heparin-binding growth factors with a core 120 amino acid (a.a.) FGF domain which allows for a common tertiary structure. Human FGF16 cDNA is a 207 aa precursor protein with one N-linked glycosylation site. FGF16 though lacking a typical signal peptide, is efficiently produced by mechanisms other than the classical protein secretion pathway. FGF16 is expressed in cardiac cells and is required for proper heart development. FGF16 gene mutation was also observed in individuals with metacarpal 4-5 fusion. FGF16 has an imperative role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation and cell differentiation, and is required for normal cardiomyocyte proliferation and heart development.

Introduction
EBI3 has an induced expression in B lymphocytes in reaction to Epstein-Barr virus infection. EBI3 encodes a secreted glycoprotein belonging to the hematopoietin receptor family, and heterodimerizes with a 28 kDa protein to form iIL-27. EBI3 drives rapid clonal expansion of naive cd4(+) t-cells. EBI3 strongly synergizes with IL-12 to activate IFN-gamma production of naive cd4(+) t-cells. EBI3 mediates its biologic effects through the cytokine receptor wsx-1/tccr.

Background
Title: Epstein-Barr Virus Induced 3 Human Recombinant: Unveiling its Role in Epstein-Barr Virus-Associated Diseases
Abstract:
Epstein-Barr Virus Induced 3 (EBI3) is a crucial cytokine involved in the immune response against Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and various other pathogens. This research paper provides an extensive analysis of human recombinant EBI3, focusing on its production, characterization, and potential applications in understanding EBV-associated diseases. The paper highlights the significance of EBI3 in modulating immune responses and explores its role in the pathogenesis of EBV-related malignancies. Furthermore, it discusses ongoing research and clinical trials investigating the therapeutic potential of recombinant EBI3 in immune disorders and cancer. The information presented in this paper aims to enhance our understanding of human recombinant EBI3 and its utility as a research tool and a potential immunotherapeutic agent.Introduction:
Epstein-Barr Virus Induced 3 (EBI3) is a cytokine that plays a critical role in the immune response against EBV. Human recombinant EBI3, produced through genetic engineering techniques, provides a valuable tool for studying its immunomodulatory properties and exploring its potential therapeutic applications.Production and Characterization:
Recombinant EBI3 is typically generated using expression systems such as mammalian cells or bacteria. The protein is then purified and characterized to ensure its structural integrity and functional activity. Rigorous quality control measures are implemented to confirm the specificity and potency of the recombinant EBI3.Role in EBV-Associated Diseases:
EBI3 is involved in the regulation of immune responses during EBV infection. It acts as a subunit of the heterodimeric cytokine interleukin-27 (IL-27), which plays a crucial role in anti-viral immunity. Recombinant EBI3 serves as a valuable tool for investigating the mechanisms underlying EBI3-mediated immune regulation and its potential implications in EBV-associated diseases, including infectious mononucleosis, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and EBV-related lymphomas.Therapeutic Implications:
Dysregulation of the immune response is implicated in various immune disorders and cancers. Recombinant EBI3 holds promise as a potential immunotherapeutic agent due to its immunomodulatory properties. Ongoing research and clinical trials are investigating the therapeutic applications of recombinant EBI3 in conditions such as autoimmune diseases, viral infections, and cancer. Conclusion:
Human recombinant EBI3 represents a valuable research tool and a potential immunotherapeutic agent. Its production, characterization, and applications in understanding EBV-associated diseases contribute to our understanding of immune regulation and the development of targeted therapeutic interventions. Continued research and clinical trials exploring the therapeutic potential of recombinant EBI3 offer promising avenues for improving outcomes in immune disorders and EBV-related malignancies. What is the molecular weight/Mw of EBI3 Protein?

Background
Prolactin is a pituitary hormone which takes part in the stimulation of milk production, salt and water regulation, development, growth and reproduction. The primary step in its action is binding a specific membrane receptor (prolactin receptor) which belongs to the superfamily of class 1 cytokine receptors. PRLR varies in size (short and long forms) with tissue source and species, from ~40 kDa to 100 kDa. The PRL-R consists of at least 3 separate domains: an extracellular region with 5 cysteines which contains the prolactin binding site, a single transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic region, the length of which appears to influence ligand binding and regulate cellular function.

Introduction
Leptin takes an important part in the regulation of energy balance and body weight control. After entering the circulation, Leptin binds LEPRwhich results in the activation of several major signalling pathways. In the hypothalamus Leptin acts as an appetite-regulating factor that induces a decrease in food intake and an increase in energy consumption and also regulates bone mass and secretion of hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenal hormones. In the periphery, increases basal metabolism, regulates pancreatic beta-cell function and insulin secretion and affects innate and adaptive immunity.

Introduction
Inhibitor of DNA Binding 2 (ID2) is a part of the inhibitor of DNA binding family, whose members are transcriptional regulators that contain a helix-loop-helix (HLH) domain but not a basic domain. Members of the ID family inhibit the functions of basic helix-loop-helix transcription factors in a dominant-negative way by suppressing their heterodimerization partners through the HLH domains. ID2 play a role in negatively regulating cell differentiation and may be an inhibitor of tissue-specific gene expression.
