Phosphomannomutase 2 (PMM2) is a member of the eukaryotic PMM family. Phosphomannomutase 2 is involved in the synthesis of the GDP-mannose and dolichol-phosphate-mannose required for a number of critical mannosyl transfer reactions. PMM2 catalyzes the isomerization of mannose 6-phosphate to mannose 1-phosphate. PMM2 mutations are linked to congenital disorders of glycosylation (CDG)-Ia, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by central nervous system dysfunction and multiorgan failure.

Introduction
Entry of HSV into the host cell involves interactions of several viral glycoproteins with cell surface receptors. The virus particle is covered by an envelope which, when bound to specific receptors on the cell surface, will fuse with the cell membrane and create an opening, or pore, through which the virus enters the host cell. Forty-two antigenic domains were identified across the hepatitis A virus (HAV) polyprotein by using a set of 237 overlapping 20-mer synthetic peptides spanning the entire HAV polyprotein. Nineteen antigenic domains were found within the structural proteins, and 22 were found within the nonstructural proteins, with 1 domain spanning the junction of VP1 and P2A proteins. Five of these domains were considered immunodominant, as judged by both the breadth and the strength of their immunoreactivity. One domain is located within the VP2 protein at position 57-90 aa. Cleavage Conditions
For Cleavage of a Fusion Protein: During cleavage reactions, it is recommended that samples be removed at various time points and analyzed by SDS-PAGE to estimate the yield, purity, and extent of digestion. The amount of PreScission Protease, temperature and length of incubation required for complete digestion of a given GST fusion partner may vary depending on the fusion partner. Optimal conditions for each fusion should be determined in pilot experiments. Digestion may be improved by adding TritonTM X-100, TweenTM 20, NonidetTM, or NP40 to a concentration of 0.01%. Concentrations of these detergents up to 1% do not inhibit PreScission Protease.

CDA is one of several deaminases responsible for maintaining the cellular pyrimidine pool. Introduction
CD68 encodes a 110-kD transmembrane glycoprotein that is highly expressed by human monocytes and tissue macrophages. It is a member of the lysosomal/endosomal-associated membrane glycoprotein (LAMP) family. The protein primarily localizes to lysosomes and endosomes with a smaller fraction circulating to the cell surface. It is a type I integral membrane protein with a heavily glycosylated extracellular domain and binds to tissue- and organ-specific lectins or selectins. The protein is also a member of the scavenger receptor family. Scavenger receptors typically function to clear cellular debris, promote phagocytosis, and mediate the recruitment and activation of macrophages. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcripts encoding different isoforms.

c-Myc is a multifunctional, nuclear phosphoprotein that plays a role in cell cycle progression, apoptosis and cellular transformation. It functions as a transcription factor that regulates transcription of specific target genes. Mutations, overexpression, rearrangement and translocation of c-Myc have been associated with a variety of hematopoietic tumors, leukemias and lymphomas, including Burkitt lymphoma. There is evidence to show that alternative translation initiations from an upstream, in-frame non-AUG (CUG) and a downstream AUG start site result in the production of two isoforms with distinct N-termini. The synthesis of non-AUG initiated protein is suppressed in Burkitt's lymphomas, suggesting its importance in the normal function of this gene.
