Proteasome subunit alpha type-2 (PSMA2) is a multicatalytic proteinase complex which is characterized by its ability to cleave peptides with Arg, Phe, Tyr, Leu, and Glu adjacent to the leaving group at neutral or slightly basic pH. PSMA2 is a 20S core alpha subunit of proteasome belonging to the peptidase T1A family. PSMA2 functions as a docking domain for the regulatory particles and exterior gates blocking unregulated access to the inner cavity.

TRAF Family Member-Associated NFKB Activator (TANK) is located in the cytoplasm and binds Either TRAF1, TRAF2 or TRAF3. VAPB Vesicle-associated membrane protein (VAMP)-associated protein B (aka VAPB) is a type IV transmembrane protein and belongs to the VAP family of proteins. VAPB may have a role in vesicle trafficking. VAPB is found in plasma and intracellular vesicle membranes as a homodimer and heterodimer with VAPA, and interacts with VAMP1 and VAMP2. VAPB defects are the basis for the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis type 8 and spinal muscular atrophy autosomal dominant Finkel type.
