Acyl-CoA binding domain containing 6, also known as ACBD6 contains 1 ACB (acyl-CoA-binding) domain and 2 ANK repeats. ACBD6 binds long-chain acyl-coenzyme A molecules with a strong preference for unsaturated C18:1 CoA, lower affinity for unsaturated C20:4-CoA, and extremely weak affinity for saturated C16:0-CoA. Moreover ACBD6 does not bind fatty acids. ACBD6 has been detected in placenta, umbilical cord blood, CD34-positive hematopoietic progenitor cells and bone marrow. Endotheliitis has been associated with ACBD6.

CIB1 (Calcium and integrin binding 1) is regulatory protein with 50% homology to calmodulin and calcineurin B, that encodes a member of the calcium-binding protein family. CIB1 interacts with DNA-dependent protein kinase and may play a role in kinase-phosphatase regulation of DNA end joining. BEN domain-containing protein 6 (BEND6) is a neural BEN-solo factor which shares many functional attributes with Drosophila Insensitive, a co-repressor for the Drosophila CSL factor. The BEND6 protein binds the mammalian CSL protein CBF1 and antagonizes Notch-dependent target activation. Furthermore, its association with Notch- and CBF1-regulated enhancers is stimulated by CBF1 and antagonized by activated Notch. S100 calcium binding protein A5 (S100A5) belongs to the S100 family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100 family members are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a wide range of cells, and are involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. S100A5 has a Ca2+ affinity 20-100 fold higher than the other S100 proteins investigated under identical conditions. Calcium-activated nucleotidase 1 (CANT1) is a member of the apyrase family. The CANT1 protein is calcium-dependent nucleotidase with a preference for UDP. The order of activity with different substrates is as follows: UDP > GDP > UTP > GTP. Moreover, CANT1 has a very low activity towards ADP and an even lower activity towards ATP. As well as it doesn’t hydrolyze AMP and GMP.
