VAPB Vesicle-associated membrane protein (VAMP)-associated protein B (aka VAPB) is a type IV transmembrane protein and belongs to the VAP family of proteins. VAPB may have a role in vesicle trafficking. VAPB is found in plasma and intracellular vesicle membranes as a homodimer and heterodimer with VAPA, and interacts with VAMP1 and VAMP2. VAPB defects are the basis for the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis type 8 and spinal muscular atrophy autosomal dominant Finkel type.

Charged multivesicular body protein 1a (CHMP1A) is a member of the vacuolar sorting protein family and functions as chromatin-modifying protein. These complexes are essential for sorting endosomal articles into multivesicular bodies (MVBs), as well as vital for the formation of these bodies. EPCAM gene mutations result in congenital tufting enteropathy.

Glutamate Decarboxylase 1 (GAD1) is one of several forms of glutamic acid decarboxylase. GAD1 is responsible for catalyzing the production of gamma-aminobutyric acid from L-glutamic acid. THAP domain-containing protein 1 (THAP1) is a 213 amino acid protein which is restricted to the nucleoplasm and contains one THAPtype zinc finger, a conserved DNA-binding domain. THAP1 is a DNA-binding transcription regulator which regulates endothelial cell proliferation and G1/S cell-cycle progression.
