TXNDC17 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 147 amino acids (1-123) and having a molecular mass of 16.5kDa.TXNDC17 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

    TXNDC17 is a disulfide reductase that takes part in several redox reactions using the reversible oxidation of its active center dithiol to a disulfide and catalyzes dithiol-disulfide exchange reactions. TXNDC17 has peroxidase activity and assists to eliminate cellular hydrogen peroxide.
