Description

Paired Prolactin monoclonal antibodies are composed of anti-Prolactin α and β subunits, the anti-Prolactin α is used for the coating and antibody to β subunit is used for colloid gold conjugation. Please note that when ordering for example: 100µg paired antibody, you receive 50µg from each antibody (100µg in total).

    Prolactin is a neuroendocrine hormone synthesized primarily by the pituitary gland but also a variety of other cell types including the placenta, brain and uterus. Its primary role is to promote and maintain lactation but has also a part in breast cancer development, regulation of reproductive function and immunoregulation. Prolactin also plays an important role in metabolism, pancreatic development and regulation of the immune system.
