IGHG2A Mouse Recombinant produced inSf9 Baculovirus cells is a single glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 242 amino acids (98-330 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 27.5 kDa. IGHG2A Mouse is fused to a 6 amino acid His-tag at C-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

  • Background

    The Ig gamma-2A chain C region is the constant region of the gamma-2A heavy chain in immunoglobulin molecules, particularly in mice. This region is responsible for various effector functions of IgG2a antibodies, such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and phagocytosis and is encoded by the Ighg2a gene. The constant region of the gamma-2A chain takes part in various immune response such as regulation of the immune response, antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and phagocytosis.
