Description

ICAM3 Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 698 amino acids (30-485 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 76.7kDa.ICAM3 is fused to a 242 amino acid hIgG-His-Tag at C-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation

The ICAM3 solution (0.25mg/1ml) contains Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) and 10% glycerol.

Purity

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Biological Activity

Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of HL-60 human promyelocytic cells.  When cells are added to Human ICAM-3/CD50 coated plates, the ED50 range ≤4ug/ml.

  • Introduction

    ICAM-3/CD50, or CD50 or Cluster of Differentiation 50 is a protein, part of the intercellular adhesion molecule superfamily. every ICAM peptides are type I transmembrane glycoproteins, bind to leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 & has 2-9 immunoglobulinlike C2-type domains. ICAM-3/CD50 can be found in every leukocyte and acts as a crucial ligand for LFA-1 in the start of the immune system response. ICAM-3/CD50 acts as an adhesion molecule and is also a potent signaling protein.
