Description

APOBEC4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 390 amino acids (1-367aa) and having a molecular mass of 44kDa.APOBEC4 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

  • Introduction

    APOBEC4 belongs to the AID/APOBEC family of polynucleotide (deoxy)cytidine deaminases, which convert cytidine to uridine. Further AID/APOBEC family members are implicated in Mrna editing, somatic hypermutation and recombination of immunoglobulin genes, and innate immunity to retroviral infection. Among the diseases associated with APOBEC4 are systemic lupus erythematosus, and lupus erythematosus.
