Speckle-type POZ protein (SPOP) belongs to the Tdpoz family containing one N-terminal MATH (Meprin and TRAF homology) domain and one C-terminal BTB/POZ domain. SPOP inhibits IPF1/PDX1 transactivation of established target promoters, may be by recruiting a repressor complex. CDC42 (Cell division cycle 42 isoform 1) is a small GTPase of the Rho-subfamily that regulates signaling pathways which control various cellular functions including cell morphology, migration, endocytosis and cell cycle progression. CDC42 is a plasma membrane-associated small GTPase which cycles between an active GTP-bound and an inactive GDP-bound state. SPARC protein, or secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine, or osteonectin or basement-membrane protein 40 is a protein that is coded by the SPARC gene in humans. It is a glycoprotein located in bones, that binds to calcium. The osteonectin is secreted from osteoblasts cells when boas are formed, mineralized and promotes the formation and creation of mineral crystals. Asides from calcium, it has been shown that this protein can also bind to collagen.

The Sec61 complex is the key component of the protein translocation apparatus of the ER (endoplasmic reticulum) membrane. Oligomers of the Sec61 complex construct a transmembrane channel where proteins are translocated across and incorporated into the ER membrane. SUMO1 is a protein that belongs to the SUMO (small ubiquitin-like modifier) protein family.
