Introduction
Scavenger mRNA-decapping enzyme (DCPS) is a member of the HIT family. DCPS is required for the complete degradation of mRNAs, both in normal mRNA turnover and in nonsense-mediated mRNA decay. It was shown that DCPS hydrolyzes the residual m7GpppN cap structure after the complete 3'–5' degradation of the mRNA by the exosome. Furthermore, DCPS releases m7GMP and is incapable of cleaving cap structures attached to a long RNA chain.

Dopachrome Tautomerase also known as DCT, belongs to the tyrosinase family. DCT takes a significant part in the synthesis of the melanin pigment including tyrosinase (Tyr), tyrosinase-related protein 1 (Tyrp1). Which are highly involved in eumelanin synthesis. The change among the eumelanin and the pheomelanin pathways is assumed to depend on the presence of cysteine. Hence, in the lack of cysteine, dopaquinone, the product of tyrosinase action, is transformed to cyclodopa (leucodopachrome) and afterwards to dopachrome (and DOPA).

Methionine sulfoxide reductase B1 (SEPX1 or MSRB1), is a selenoprotein that contains a selenocysteine (Sec) residue at its active site. The selenocysteine is encoded by the UGA codon that usually signals translation termination. SEPX1 is a member of the methionine sulfoxide reductase B (MsrB) family, and is expressed in an assortment of adult and fetal tissues. MSRs (Methionine sulfoxide reductases) catalyze the reduction of free and protein-bound methionine sulfoxides to corresponding methionines. The oxidation of methionine by ROS creates a diastereomeric mixture of methionine-S-sulfoxide (Met-S-SO) and methionine-R-sulfoxide (Met-R-SO). Two separate enzyme families evolved for reduction of these sulfoxides, with methionine-S-sulfoxide reductase (MsrA) being stereospecific for Met-S-SO and methionine-R-sulfoxide reductase (MsrB) for Met-R-SO.

Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) represents one of the main autoantigenic targets in autoimmune thyroid disease of humans. Its identity with the formerly so-called `microsomal antigen` has been shown several years ago. E2 17-beta-dehydrogenase 8 (HSD17B8) is a member of the short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) family. In mice, the HSD17B8 protein is a 17-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase which can regulate the concentration of biologically active estrogens and androgens. HSD17B8 is preferentially an oxidative enzyme and inactivates E2, testosterone, and DHT. However, the HSD17B8 enzyme has some reductive activity and can synthesize E2 from E1. HSD17B8 may have a role in biosynthesis of fatty acids in mitochondria.

DPP4 also called adenosine deaminase complexing protein-2, and T-cell activation antigen CD26 is a serine exopeptidase and complex enzyme that is expressed on the surface of most cell types. DPPIV is an intrinsic membrane glycoprotein and a serine exopeptidase that cleaves X-proline dipeptides from the N-terminus of polypeptides. DPP4 plays a role in t-cell activation. DPP4 is associated with intracellular signal transduction, apoptosis and involved in tumor biology. Arylsulfatase G (ARSG) is a member of the sulfatase enzyme family. Sulfatases are enzymes which hydrolyze sulfate esters from sulfated steroids, carbohydrates, proteoglycans, and glycolipids. Sulfatases are involved in hormone biosynthesis, modulation of cell signaling, and degradation of macromolecules. The ARSG protein exhibits arylsulfatase activity at acidic pH, as is characteristic of lysosomal sulfatases. The Arylsulfatase G enzyme localizes in the lysosomes. ARSG is inhibited by phosphate, which forms a covalent bond with the active site 3-oxoalanine. Arylsulfatase G is widely expressed, having very low expression in the brain, lung, heart and skeletal muscle.
