Non-Metastatic Cells 2 or NME2, is a protein, that acts as a nucleoside diphosphate kinase. This protein is of a heterodimeric structure and has 152 aa A & B polypeptide chains that builds the whole protein. Erythrocyte NDP kinase beta subunit has an identical structure to NME2. NDP kinases linked to nucleoside triphosphates synthesis and it appears as though NME2 takes part in regulating signal transduction.

Janus Kinase 2 (JAK2) is a protein tyrosine kinase which takes part in a specific subset of cytokine receptor signaling pathways such as cell growth, development, differentiation or histone modifications. JAK2 is linked with the prolactin receptor and is necessary for responses to gamma interferon. Mice which do not express an active protein for JAK2 show embryonic lethality associated with the absence of definitive erythropoiesis.

GUK1 is part of the guanylate kinase family. GUK1 occurs as a monomer that catalyzes the ATP-dependent conversion of GMP to GDP, thus takes an important part in the recycling of GMP. Through its catalytic activity, GUK1 functions in regulation of the supply of guanine nucleotides to signal transduction pathways. Cell division protein kinase 5 (CDK5) belongs to the cyclin-dependent kinase family. CDK5 is essential for appropriate development of the brain and in order to be activated CDK5 must link to CDK5R1 or CDK5R2. CDK5 doesn't need phosphorylation on the T loop so that binding with the activator is enough to activate the kinase. Adenosine Kinase is an abundant enzyme in mammalian tissues which catalyzes the transfer of the gamma-phosphate from ATP to adenosine, thus is as a regulator of concentrations of both extracellular adenosine and intracellular adenine nucleotides. Adenosine has extensive effects on the cardiovascular, nervous, respiratory, and immune systems and inhibitors of the enzyme take a crucial pharmacological part in growing intravascular adenosine concentrations and acting as anti-inflammatory agents.

B-Raf Proto-Oncogene, also known as BRAF is a member of the raf/mil family of serine/threonine protein kinases. Tyrosine Kinase ErbB-4 (ErbB4) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that is a member of the epidermal growth factor receptor family whose members play a role as receptors for the EGF family of growth factors. ErbB4is a single-pass type I transmembrane protein with multiple furin-like cysteine rich domains,PDZ domain binding motif, a tyrosine kinase domain and a phosphotidylinositol-3 kinase binding site. ErbB4binds its ligands with low affinity and is expressed in normal skeletal muscle, heart, pituitary, brain and some breast carcinomas. Monomeric ErbB4 takes part in neuronal development and development of the heart and cancer.

Adenylate kinase isoenzyme 5 (AK5) belongs to the adenylate kinase family, which is involved in regulating the adenine nucleotide composition within a cell by catalyzing the reversible transfer of phosphate groups among adenine nucleotides. AK5 is related to the UMP/CMP kinase of several species. AK5 is located in the cytosol and expressed exclusively in the brain.

Cyclin-dependent kinase 4 combines with the protein cyclin D to form a protein complex that promotes the passage of cells through the G1 checkpoint in the cell growth cycle. This cellular activity is regulated by the protein p16 produced by p16INK4a. Human TIE-1 cDNA encodes a 1122 amino acid (aa) residue precursor protein with an 18 residue putative signal peptide, a 726 residue extracellular domain and a 353 residue cytoplasmic domain. Two ligands, angiopoietin-1 (Ang1) and angiopoietin-2 (Ang2), which bind TIE-2 with high-affinity have been identified. Ang2 has been reported to act as an antagonist for Ang1. AURKB expression during the G2/M phase transition is firmly coordinated with histone H3 phosphorylation, while overexpression is seen in many kinds of cancers. AURKB phosphorylates ''Ser-10'' and ''Ser-28'' of histone H3 during mitosis. AURKB is a component of the CPC (chromosomal passenger complex), which is a complex that acts as a key regulator of mitosis. High level expression of AURKB is seen in the thymus, which is also expressed in the spleen, lung, testis, colon, placenta and fetal liver. AURKB is expressed during S and G2/M phase and expression is up-regulated in cancer cells during M phase.
