    • Introduction

Phosphoribosyltransferase domain-containing protein 1 (PRTFDC1) is a member of the purine/pyrimidine phosphoribosyltransferase family. PRTFDC1 has a low, barely measurable phosphoribosyltransferase activity (in vitro). PRTFDC1 can bind GMP, IMP and alpha-D-5-phosphoribosyl 1-pyrophosphate (PRPP). PRTFDC1 is not expected to impact purine metabolism or GMP salvage.

    • Synonyms

      Phosphoribosyltransferase domain-containing protein 1, PRTFDC1, HHGP.

    • Physical Appearance

      Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

    • Stability

PRTFDC1 Human Recombinant although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.

    • Introduction

COMM domain-containing protein 9 (COMMD9), is a part of the COMMD family. The COMMD family is a group of evolutionary conserved proteins that share a common COMM domain at their extreme C-terminus, which provides an interface for protein-protein interactions. COMMD9 is a 198 amino acid ubiquitously expressed protein which contains one COMM domain and involved in signaling events all over the cell.

    • Synonyms

      COMM Domain Containing Protein 9, FLJ31106, HSPC166, COMM9.

    • Physical Appearance

      Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

    • Stability

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

    • Introduction

Endophilin-B1 (SH3GLB1) is a part of the endophilin family and highly expresses in heart, skeletal muscle, kidney and placenta. Endophilin B1 belongs to the B subgroup of the endophilin family which is needed for preservation of mitochondrial morphology and for the regulation of the outer mitochondrial membrane dynamics. SH3GLB1 is required for normal outer mitochondrial membrane dynamics. Furthermore, SH3GLB1 is required for coatomer-mediated retrograde transport in certain cells. SH3GLB1 interacts with SH3GLB2 and Bcl-2-associated X protein and involved in regulating apoptotic signaling pathways.

    • Introduction

Murine IL-36a belongs to the IL-1 family that includes IL-1b, IL-1a, IL-1ra, IL-18, IL-36ra (IL1F5), IL-36b (IL1F8), IL-36g (IL1F9), IL-37 (IL1F7) and IL-38 (IL-1F10). The IL-1 family members display a 12 b-strand, b-trefoil configuration, and are thought to have ascended from a mutual ancestral gene. Murine IL-36a is a 160 amino acid intracellular and secreted protein which holds no signal sequence, no prosegment and no potential N-linked glycosylation sites. IL-36a is released as a reaction to LPS and the cell ATP-induced activation of the P2X7 receptor.
Mouse to human, full length IL-36a/IL-1F6 shares 54% aa sequence homology. IL-36a is mostly found in skin and lymphoid tissues, but also in fetal brain, trachea, stomach and intestine.

    • Introduction

Adiponectin is an adipocyte specific secreted protein that circulates in the plasma. It is induced during adipocyte differentiation and its secretion is stimulated by insulin. Mouse adiponectin shares about 83% amino acid identity with that human. Adiponectin plays a role in various physiological processes such as energy homeostasis and obesity. Adiponectin is reduced in obese humans, and decreased level is associated with insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia.

It has been proposed that HDDC2 takes part in nucleic acid metabolism, signal transduction and possibly other functions in bacteria, archaea and eukaryotes. The HD domain consists of highly conserved residues, in particular histidines or aspartates. Porphyria cutanea tarda, Parkinson’s disease and Stickler syndrome have all been related with HDDC2.

Throughout embryonic development, EDN3 takes part in neural crest cells that migrate from the developing spinal cord to specific regions in the embryo, where they give rise to many different types of cells. EDN3 and EDN3R are necessary for the formation of nerves in the large intestine (enteric nerves) and melanocytes (produce melanin). Mutations in the EDN3 gene is linked with Waardenburg syndrome, type IV that is characterized by changes in skin, hair, and eye coloring. Mutations in the EDN3 gene is linked with Hirschsprung disease that causes severe constipation or intestinal blockage.

    • Introduction

THAP domain-containing protein 1 (THAP1) is a 213 amino acid protein which is restricted to the nucleoplasm and contains one THAPtype zinc finger, a conserved DNA-binding domain. THAP1 is a DNA-binding transcription regulator which regulates endothelial cell proliferation and G1/S cell-cycle progression. In addition, THAP1 has a pro-apoptopic activity by potentiating both serum-withdrawal and TNF-induced apoptosis. THAP1 protein colocalizes with the apoptosis response protein PAWR/PAR-4 in promyelocytic leukemia (PML) nuclear bodies, and serves as a proapoptotic factor which connects PAWR to PML nuclear bodies.

    • Introduction

Leucine zipper down-regulated in cancer 1-like (LDOC1L) is a member of the LDOC1 family. LDOC1L is a nuclear protein containing a leucine zipper-like motif and a proline-rich region that shares noticeable similarity with an SH3-binding domain. LDOC1L localizes to the nucleus and is downregulated in certain cancer cell lines. LDOC1L is believed to regulate the transcriptional response mediated by the nuclear factor kB (NFkB).

    • Introduction

Prothrombin Complex Concentrate (PCC) is a combination of several blood clotting factors II, VII, IX and X. PCC is used in the treatment of the congenital bleeding disorders associated with Factors II, VII, IX, and X deficiencies. PCC reverses the effect of warfarin (a coumarin anti-coagulant) and is used in cases of significant bleeding in patients with a coagulopathy, for example, gastrointestinal haemorrhage or intracranial haemorrhage. The PCC is also extensively used in treating acquired coagulation abnormalities secondary to vitamin K deficiency, warfarin ingestion, and various types of liver disease.
Hepatitis, anaphylaxis and thrombosis have been reported as complications of prothrombin complex concentrates administration.

    • Synonyms

      PCC, Prothrombin Complex.

    • Physical Appearance

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

    • Stability

Lyophilized Prothrombin-Complex although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Prothrombin-Complex should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

    • Solubility

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Prothrombin Complex in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O.

    • Introduction

Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor 2DL5A or KIR2DL5A is part of the killer cell Ig-like receptor (KIR) family. KIR2DL5A is atype I transmembrane glycoprotein. The protein is detected on the cell membrane as a monomer who, once tyrosine is phosphorylated, recruits the Src homology region 2-includes protein tyrosine phosphatase-2. Hence, KIR2DL5A is an inhibitory receptor gathering a combination of genetic, structural, and functional features unique among KIR, suggesting that KIR2DL5A plays a crucial role in innate immunity.
