Human Phosphoserine phosphatase (hPSP) is an important enzyme in the phosphorylated pathway of serine biosynthesis, which contributes a major portion of the endogenous L-serine. Similar to known L-3-phosphoserine phosphatases, it catalyzed the Mg2+-dependent hydrolysis of L-phosphoserine and an exchange reaction between L-serine and L-phosphoserine. Recently, its complex structures reveal that the open-closed environmental change of the active site, generated -helical bundle domain, is important to substrate by local rearrangement of the recognition and hydrolysis.

UMP-CMP kinase and deoxycytidylate kinase (CMPK1) is an enzyme which catalyzes the phosphoryl transfer from ATP to UMP, CMP and dCMP. This enzymatic reaction brings about the formation of ADP and the corresponding nucleoside diphosphate that are necessary for cellular nucleic acid synthesis. RNF7 is a vital subunit of SKP1-cullin/CDC53-F box protein ubiquitin ligases that are a part of the protein degradation machinery important for cell cycle progression and signal transduction. RNF7 is a substrate of casein kinase II (CSNK2A1/CKII) and also interacts with it. The phosphorylation of RNF7 by CSNK2A1 promotes the degradation of IkappaBalpha (CHUK/IKK-alpha/IKBKA) and p27Kip1(CDKN1B).

Metalloproteinase inhibitor 4 (TIMP4) is a member of a family of secreted proteins which regulate the activation and proteolytic activity of the zinc enzymes known as matrix metalloproteinases. The four known members of this family are TIMP1, 2, 3 and 4. TIMP4 is produced by various tissues, particularly the brain, heart, ovary and skeletal muscle. COX5B is a multi-subunit enzyme complex which couples the transfer of electrons from cytochrome c to molecular oxygen and contributes to a proton electrochemical gradient across the inner mitochondrial membrane. There are two isoforms of COX5:COX5a and COX5b. Zymogen Granule Protein 16 Homolog (ZG16) is a member of the jacalin lectin family. ZG16 may have a role in protein trafficking and may act as a linker molecule between the submembranous matrix on the luminal side of zymogen granule membrane (ZGM) and aggregated secretory proteins during granule formation in the TGN. IL11 is a member of the gp130 family of cytokines. These cytokines drive the assembly of multisubunit receptor complexes, all of which contain at least one molecule of the transmembrane signaling receptor IL6ST (gp130).
