NMNAT1 enzyme is vital for NAD biosynthesis, catalyzing the condensation of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) or nicotinic acid mononucleotide (NaMN) with the AMP moiety of ATP to form NAD or NaAD. NMNAT1 is widely expressed with high levels in skeletal muscle, heart, liver and kidney. This protein appears to have the ability to protect against axonal degeneration following mechanical or toxic insults.

Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) represents one of the main autoantigenic targets in autoimmune thyroid disease of humans. Its identity with the formerly so-called `microsomal antigen` has been shown several years ago. Adenosine Deaminase (ADA), also recognized as ADAT2 is an enzyme that takes part in purine metabolism. ADAT2 is necessary for the breakdown of adenosine from food and for the turnover of nucleic acids in tissues. ADAT2 is involved in the deamination of adenosine-34 to inosine in numerous tRNAs. ADAT2 is part of the cytidine and deoxycytidylate deaminase protein family, ADAT2 employs zinc as a cofactor. ADAT2 is a 191 amino acid enzyme that exists as two isoforms formed by alternative splicing events.

Tryptase alpha/beta-1 (TPSAB1) is a tryptase which is the key neutral protease present in mast cells and is discharged upon the coupled activation-degranulation response of this cell type. TPSAB1 is enzymatically active only as a heparin-stabilized tetramer, and is resistant to all known endogenous proteinase inhibitors. TPSAB1 is implicated as a mediator in the pathogenesis of asthma and other allergic and inflammatory disorders.

Protein kinase CK2 is a ubiquitous and pleiotropic Ser/Thr protein kinase implicated in cell growth andtransformation. This protein is a protein similar to the E2 ubiquitin conjugating enzyme UBC3/CDC34. Studies propose that CK2-dependent phosphorylation of this ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme functions by regulating beta-TrCP substrate recognition and induces its interaction with beta-TrCP, enhancing beta-catenin degradation. UBE2R2 receives ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins. In vitro catalyzes monoubiquitination and 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitination. UBE2R2 may be implicated in degradation of katenin. Among the diseases associated with UBE2R2 are cblc, and herpes simplex.

Queuine TRNA-Ribosyltransferase 1 also known as QTRT1 is a member of the queuine tRNA-ribosyltransferase family. QTRT1 interacts with QTRTD1 to form an active queuine tRNA-ribosyltransferase. Furthermore, QTRT1 exchanges queuine for the guanine at the wobble position of tRNAs with GUN anticodons (tRNA-Asp, -Asn, -His and -Tyr), in this manner forming the hypermodified nucleoside queuosine (Q) (7-(((4,5-cis-dihydroxy-2-cyclopenten-1-yl)amino)methyl)-7-deazaguanosine).

Rnase P protein, AKA rnpA, is an important enzyme consisting of the C5 protein (which encoded by rnpA) and the catalytic M1 RNA (encoded by rnpB) subunits. rnpA is ribonucleoprotein that catalyzes the removal of the 50- leader elements of precursor tRNAs and generates the mature 50-end of tRNAs. OTC is a member of the ATCase/OTCase family. FGF8 is part of the fibroblast growth factor family. Glutathione S-transferase omega 2 (GSTO2) is a member of the GST superfamily. GSTO2 is involved in catalyzing the reaction of glutathione with a broad range of organic compounds to form thioethers, a process which is vital for the metabolism and detoxification of a variety of xenobiotics and carcinogens. GSTO2 displays glutathione-dependent thiol transferase activity. GSTO2 has a high dehydroascorbate reductase activity and may be a factor in the recycling of ascorbic acid. GSTO2 also participates in the biotransformation of inorganic arsenic and reduces monomethylarsonic acid (MMA). GSTO2 is expressed in an array of tissues, including the liver, kidney, skeletal muscle and prostate, while the strongest expression is seen in the testis.

Creatine Kinase, Mitochondrial 2 (CKMT2) is a member of the ATP:guanido phosphotransferase family. CKMT2 is responsible for the transfer of high energy phosphate from mitochondria to the cytosolic carrier, creatine. CKMT2 reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens (e.g. creatine phosphate). Creatine kinase isoenzymes have a principal role in energy transduction in tissues with large, variable energy demands, such as skeletal muscle, heart, brain and spermatozoa. Mitochondrial creatine kinase occurs in 2 different oligomeric forms: dimers and octamers, contrary to the exclusively dimeric cytosolic creatine kinase isoenzymes. Lysophospholipase-like protein 1 (LYPLAL1) is a member of the AB hydrolase 2 family. LYPLAL1 doesn’t exhibit phospholipase nor triacylglycerol lipase activity, able to hydrolyze only short chain substrates as a result of its shallow active site.
