Ras-related GTP binding C (RRAGC) is a monomeric guanine nucleotide-binding protein, or G protein. As a result of binding GTP or GDP, small G proteins act as molecular regulators in various cell processes and signaling pathways. RRAGC regulates the organization of the actin cytoskeleton and has an intrinsic GTPase activity. RRAGC is possibly necessary for the amino acid-induced relocalization of mTORC1 to the lysosomes and its succeeding activation by the GTPase RHEB, which is key step in the activation of the TOR signaling cascade by amino acids.

Acetoacetyl-CoA thiolase (ACAT1) is an enzyme member of the membrane-bound acyltransferase family and Sterol o-acyltransferase subfamily. The ACAT1 enzyme catalyzes the reversible formation of acetoacetyl-CoA from 2 molecules of acetyl-CoA. ACAT1 plays a part in lipoprotein compilation and dietary cholesterol absorption. Added to its acyltransferase activity, ACAT1 acts as a ligase.

GM-CSF Receptor Alpha (CSF2RA) is the alpha subunit of the heterodimeric receptor for colony stimulating factor 2, a cytokine which controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes and macrophages. Cystatin 11 (CST11) is a member of the Cystatin family. The Cystatin superfamily is comprised of proteins with multiple cystatin-like sequences. Several family members are active cysteine protease inhibitors, other family members have lost or perhaps never developed this inhibitory activity. The Cystatin superfamily consists of three inhibitory families, including the type 1 cystatins (stefins), type 2 cystatins and the kininogens. The type 2 cystatin proteins are a class of cysteine proteinase inhibitors found in a variety of human fluids and secretions. The majority of the type 2 cystatin genes and pseudogenes are contained in the cystatin locus on chromosome 20. CST11 is located in the cystatin locus and encodes an epididymal-specific protein whose specific function has not been verified yet.

ADH1C is a member of the zinc-containing alcohol dehydrogenase family which metabolizes a large assortment of substrates, such as ethanol, retinol, other aliphatic alcohols, hydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products. Aldolase C Fructose-Bisphosphate (ALDOC) belongs to the class I fructose-bisphosphate aldolase family. ALDOC is a glycolytic enzyme which catalyzes the reversible aldol cleavage of fructose-1,6-biphosphate and fructose 1-phosphate to dihydroxyacetone phosphate and either glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate or glyceraldehydes respectively. BTF3L4 binds to polypeptide chains as they emerge from the ribosome and prevents their interaction with the SRP, which usually targets nascent secretory peptides to the ER. BTF3 is also a general transcription factor which forms a stable complex with RNA polymerase II.
