D-lactate dehydrogenase (ldha) is a member of the D-isomer specific 2-hydroxyacid dehydrogenase family. In enzymology, an ldha (cytochrome) is an enzyme which catalyzes the chemical reaction. Therefore, the 2 substrates of the ldha enzyme are (D)-lactate and ferricytochrome c, whereas its 2 products are pyruvate and ferrocytochrome c.

CD40L or CD154 is a membrane glycoprotein and differentiation antigen expressed on the surface of T-cells. The CD40 ligand stimulates B-cell proliferation and secretion of all immunoglobulin isotypes in the presence of cytokines. DKK2 may function as either an agonist or antagonist of Wnt/beta-catenin signaling, depending on the cellular environment and the presence of the co-factor kremen 2. DKK2 protein activity is also controlled by binding to the Wnt co-receptor LRP6 (LDL-receptor related protein 6).
