ADP-ribosylhydrolase like 2 (ADPRHL2) belongs to the ADP-ribosylglycohydrolase family. ADPRHL2 catalyzes the removal of ADP-ribose from ADP-ribosylated proteins. ADPRHL2, which is ubiquitously expressed, uses magnesium as a cofactor to catalyze the hydrolysis of poly (ADP-ribose) that is synthesized after DNA damage.
