Astyrosine-protein phosphatase non-receptor type 11 isoform 2 (PTPN11), is a member of the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family, non-receptor class 2 subfamily. PTPN11 takes part in signal transduction from the cell surface to the nucleus downstream of various cytosolic protein tyrosine kinases as well as receptors. PTPN11 deficient cells have poor mobility due to excessive phosphorylation of FAK as well as other proteins which interfere with the rotation of cell attachment points in the focal adhesion complex.

As a nudix hydrolase, NUDT5 holds a central nudix motif and functions to eliminate toxic nucleotide metabolites from the cell while maintaining the levels of signaling nucleotides.

PDIA6 belongs to the protein disulfide isomerase family (PDI). RAC-1 regulates the actin cytoskeleton but also other cellular processes. RAC1 have been shown to be involved in the regulation of cell-cell adhesion.

Vps20-associated 1 homolog (VTA1) is a member of the VTA1 family. The VTA1 protein is involved in the endosomal multivesicular bodies (MVB) pathway. Furthermore, VTA1 is interacts with CHMP1B, CHMP2A, CHMP5, VPS4B, KIAA0174 (IST1) and possibly CHMP3.
