Integrin Beta 3 Binding Protein (ITGB3BP1) is a broadly expressed protein which contains a DD1 or RepD1 domain and an LXXLL motif. ITGB3BP1 functions as a nuclear receptor coactivator while induced by estrogen. ITGB3BP1 is also relates with the CENP-A-CAD complex that is engaged in mitotic progression, the assembly of kinetochore proteins and chromosome segregation. ITGB3BP1 behave s as a transcriptional corepressor via its interaction with the NFKB1 NF-kappa-B subunit by interfering with the transactivation domain of NFKB1.

Arginase-1 is part of the urea cycle, it catalyzes the hydrolysis of arginine to ornithine and urea. There are two isoforms of mammalian arginase which differ in their tissue location, subcellular localization, immunologic crossreactivity & physiologic role. Arginase-1is a cytosolic enzyme and expressed primarily in the liver tissue. Inherited deficiency in this enzyme may lead toargininemia, which is an autosomal recessive disease in which hyperammonemia is detected.

Regulator of G-protein signaling 21 (RGS21) belongs to the RGS family and regulatory molecules which act as GTPase activating proteins for G alpha subunits of heterotrimeric G proteins. The RGS21 protein inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits thus driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form.

Arylsulfatase G (ARSG) is a member of the sulfatase enzyme family. Sulfatases are enzymes which hydrolyze sulfate esters from sulfated steroids, carbohydrates, proteoglycans, and glycolipids. Sulfatases are involved in hormone biosynthesis, modulation of cell signaling, and degradation of macromolecules. The ARSG protein exhibits arylsulfatase activity at acidic pH, as is characteristic of lysosomal sulfatases. The Arylsulfatase G enzyme localizes in the lysosomes. ARSG is inhibited by phosphate, which forms a covalent bond with the active site 3-oxoalanine. Arylsulfatase G is widely expressed, having very low expression in the brain, lung, heart and skeletal muscle.

Hemagglutinin-Influenza A Virus H7N9 Anhui 2013 (Anhui H7N9) is a part of the influenza viruses hemagglutinin family. H7N9 Anhui is anantigenic glycoprotein which is responsible for binding the virus to the infected cell. An H7N9 virus was firstreported to have infected humans in March 2013, in China. Although the risk is low, The H7N9 virus has thegreatest potential compared with other influenza A viruses to cause a pandemicbecause like other type A viruses, it is not easily transmitted between people in its current form.

TRAF-interacting protein with FHA domain-containing protein A (TIFA) is an adapter protein that mediates the IRAK1 and TRAF6 interaction following IL-1 stimulation, triggering the downstream activation of NF-kappa-B and AP-1 pathways. Calpain, Small Subunit 1 (CAPNS1) belongs to the calpain small subunit family. A fusion tag called FLAG consists of eight amino acids (AspTyrLysAspAspAspAspLys) including an enterokinase-cleavage site. FLAG is specifically designed for immunoaffinity chromatography. It allows elution under non-denaturing conditions. Several antibodies against this peptide have been developed. One antibody denoted as M1 binds the peptide in the presence of bivalent metal cations preferably Ca(+). Elution is effected by chelating agents. Another strategy is competitive elution with excess of free Flag Peptide. The FLAG peptide purifies and detects recombinant fusion proteins. FLAG peptide is useful in Western blotting, immunocytochemistry, immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry, protein purification, and in the study of protein-protein interactions, cell ultrastructure, and protein localization. Flag peptide is a hydrophilic tag which significantly improves the detection and purification of recombinant fusion proteins.

Protein A/G binds to all subclasses of human IgG, making it helpful for purifying polyclonal or monoclonal IgG antibodies whose subclasses have not been identifieed. Protein A/G binds to IgA, IgE, IgM and IgD. Protein A/G binds to all subclasses of mouse IgG excluding mouse IgA, IgM or serum albumin. This permits Protein A/G to be used in purification and detection of mouse monoclonal IgG antibodies, with no interference from IgA, IgM and serum albumin. Mouse monoclonal antibodies normally have a stronger affinity to the chimeric Protein A/G than to either Protein A or Protein G. Protein A/G also has been used for purification of macaque IgG.
