Protein Phosphatase 1, Regulatory Subunit 3B (PPP1R3B) is the catalytic subunit of the serine/theonine phosphatase, protein phosphatase-1. The bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) are a family of secreted signaling molecules, which can induce ectopic bone growth. IHH belongs to the hedgehog family of secreted signaling molecules. Hedgehog proteins are vital regulators of various developmental processes including growth, patterning and morphogenesis.
