Septin-3, also known as SEPT3 is a member of the septin family of GTPases. Members of this family are essential for cytokinesis. Furthermore, expression is up regulated by retinoic acid in a human teratocarcinoma cell line. The exact role of SEPT3 has not been determined yet. In addition, among its related pathways are Bacterial invasion of epithelial cells.

CRK belongs to the signaling adapter protein family which binds to several tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins. CRK is involved in many cellular processes such as apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation. CRK has a modular domain architecture consisting of an SH2 followed by two SH3 domains (src-homology domains). The N-terminal SH2 domain of the CRK protein functions as a positive regulator of transformation whereas the C-terminal SH3 domain functions as a negative regulator of transformation.

SF3B14 is a 125 amino acid nuclear protein which is a component of the splicing factor 3b complex. Splicing factor 3b is involved with s with both the U2 and U11/U12 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein complexes (U2 snRNP) of spliceosomes. SF3B14 which is required for the splicing of pre-mRNA enters the spliceosome and connect with the pre-mRNA branch site facilitating the interaction of snRNP with the branch sites of U2 and U12 of the 17S U2 and the 18S U11/U12 snRNP complex.

Similar to filoviruses and ebolavirions, EVD is a filamentous element that could appear in 3 forms: shepherd's crook, U shape or a 6 shape. Ebolaviruses may be coiled, toroid, or branched. Most ebolavirions are 80nm wideand 14,000nm long.

SCAND1 is a part of a family of genes which encode an isolated SCAN domain. SCAN domain containing 1 has one SCAN box domain and has no zinc finger motif, which distinct this protein from almost all other SCAN domain containing proteins. SCAND1 is a nuclear protein that takes a part in the mechanism of transcription regulation. SCAND1 is extensively expressed in high levels in the kidney, thyroid, liver, prostate and testis.

SPARC, an acronym for “secreted protein, acidic and rich in cysteine”, is also known as osteonectin or BM-40. SPARC is produced by fibroblasts, capillary endothelial cells, platelets and macrophages, especially in areas of tissue morphogenesis and remodeling. Syntaxin-2 (STX2) is a member of the syntaxin/epimorphin family of proteins. Syntaxin family members are cellular receptors for transport vesicles which participate in exocytosis in neutrophils. STX2 regulates epithelial-mesenchymal interactions and epithelial cell morphogenesis and activation. The induced protein was isolated from inclusion bodies by a simple solubilization-renaturation procedure and purified by ion exchange chromatography on Q-Sepharose to over 95% pure monomeric protein.Recombinant A-protein was compared by biochemical, immunological and molecular methods with the A-protein isolated from atypical A.salmonicida bacterial cells by the glycine and the membrane extraction methods.
