CD3-gamma polypeptide is encoded by CD3 Gamma (CD3G) which together with CD3-epsilon, -delta and -zeta, and the T-cell receptor alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, configures the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. The T-cell receptor-CD3 complex takes part in coupling antigen recognition to numerous intracellular signal-transduction pathways. The genes encoding the epsilon, gamma and delta polypeptides are located in the same cluster on chromosome 11. Deficiencies in this gene are associated with T cell immunodeficiency.

KLRD1, also known as Killer Cell Lectin Like Receptor D1, is expressed on the surface of natural killer cells in the innate immune system. RSCU analysis proposes that the 2019-nCoV is a recombinant within the viral spike glycoprotein between the bat coronavirus and an unknown coronavirus.

The bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) receptors are a family of transmembrane serine/threonine kinases that include the type I receptors BMPR1A and BMPR1B and the type II receptor BMPR2. IL1R2 is a cytokine receptor which is a part of the interleukin-1 receptor family. IL1R2 is expressed mainly by T cells, endothelial cells and fibroblasts.
