Regulator of G-protein signaling 14 (RGS14) is a member of the regulator of G protein signaling family. RGS14 contains one RGS domain, 2 Raf-like Ras-binding domains (RBDs) and one GoLoco motif. RGS14 reduces the signaling activity of G-proteins by binding, via its GoLoco domain, to specific types of activated, GTP-bound G alpha subunits. RGS14 is a scaffolding protein which integrates G protein and H-Ras/ERK/MAP kinase signaling pathways, thus making it suitably positioned to repress plasticity in CA2 neurons. TRAIL Receptor-3, also known as TNFRSF10C belongs to theTNF-receptor super family. The natural cytotoxicity receptors (NCRs) are a recently characterized family of Ig-like activation receptors that appear to be major triggering receptors in tumor cell recognition. The three known NCRs include NKp46 and NKp30, which are expressed on circulating NKcells, and NKp44, which is expressed only on activating NK cells. NKp46 has been implicated in NK cell-mediated lysis of several autologous tumor cells, pathogen-infected cell lines and mononuclear phagocytes infected with an intracellular bacterium.
