RAC1 is a GTPase which belongs to the RAS superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins. RAB14 belongs to the RAB protein family, low molecular mass monomeric GTPases which is found on the cytoplasmic surfaces of distinct membrane bound organelles. RAB14 has a role in vesicular trafficking and neurotransmitter release throughout the body and is expressed at high levels in brain, lung, kidney, spleen and thymus. RGS19 is a member of RGS (regulator of G protein signaling) family and negatively regulates G protein coupled receptor signaling. RGS19 protein specifically cooperates with heterotrimeric GTP-binding protein G alpha i3 (GAI3).
