    • Introduction

Glycophorins A & B (GYPA &GYPB) are the main sialoglycoproteins of the human erythrocyte membrane which carry the antigenic determinants for the MN and Ss blood groups. Along with the M or N and S or s antigens which normally occur in all populations, approximately 40 related variant phenotypes were identified. These variants comprise all the variants of the Miltenberger complex and some isoforms of Sta, as well as Dantu, Sat, He, Mg, and deletion variants Ena, S-s-U- and Mk. GYPA is significant for the function of SLC4A1 and is necessary for high activity of SLC4A1. GYPA is involved in translocation of SLC4A1 to the plasma membrane. GYPA is also a receptor for: the influenza virus, Plasmodium falciparum erythrocyte-binding antigen 175 (EBA-175); binding of EBA-175 is dependent on sialic acid residues of the O-linked glycans and is also a receptor for Hepatitis A virus (HAV).

    • Introduction

Eotaxin-2, also called MPIF2 & Ckb6, is a novel CC chemokine produced by activated monocytes and T lymphocytes. Eotaxin-2 selectively chemoattracts cells expressing CCR3 including eosinophils, basophils, Th2 T cells, mast cells, and certain subsets of dendritic cells. Furthermore, Eotaxin-2 inhibits the proliferation of multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cells. The mature protein, which includes C-terminal truncation, contains 78 amino acids (92 amino acids for the mouse homolog, without C-terminal truncation).
CCL24 functions as a chemotactic chemokine for resting t-lymphocytes, and eosinophils. CCL24 has lower chemotactic activity for neutrophils but none for monocytes and activated lymphocytes. CCL24 is a strong suppressor of colony formation by a multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cell line and binds to CCR3.

    • Synonyms

      C-C motif chemokine 24, Small-inducible cytokine A24, Myeloid progenitor inhibitory factor 2, CK-beta-6, Eosinophil chemotactic protein 2, Eotaxin-2, CCL24, Ckb-6, MPIF2, MPIF-2, SCYA24, Eotaxin2, CCL-24.

    • Physical Appearance

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

    • Stability

Lyophilized Eotaxin-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCL24 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

    • Solubility

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized CCL24 Mouse Recombinant in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

      IFN-gamma Human

      About IFN-gamma Human:

IFN-gamma, often known as interferon gamma (and originally known as immune interferon), is a soluble, dimerized cytokine that is the only interferon in the type II class. Besides its primary function in preventing the spread of the vesicular stomatitis virus, interferon gamma release assays are extensively employed in the diagnosis of tuberculosis. IFN-gamma, encoded by the IFNG gene in humans, controls immunological responses by cell signaling, particularly through the JAK-STAT pathway. Subsequently, interferon gamma plays a crucial role in cancer immunotherapy by preventing tumor growth, managing immune defenses against pathogens and monitoring cells activity. In this article we will delve into the science behind IFN-gamma and explain its significance in biomedical research.

      Description:

IFN-gamma Human Recombinant is a single non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 144 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 17kDa that its original source is Escherichia Coli. This product appears as a sterile-filtered white lyophilized powder, ensuring purity and stability. Its formulation involves lyophilization from a filtered concentrated solution in PBS (pH 4.6). Its purity is determined both by analysis by RP-HPLC and SDS-PAGE and is therefore greater than 98%. In terms of stability, lyophilized IFN gamma is stable at room temperature for three weeks. However, it is preferable to store it desiccated below -18°C. In any case, you should prevent freeze thaw cycles. Additionally, reconstitution of IFN-gamma is recommended in sterile distilled water or 20mM AcOH, maintaining a concentration of at least 100µg/ml.

      Protein Function:

Interferon gamma is a key player in immune control. It is a protein that plays a major role in complex cell signaling networks. The JAK-STAT pathway, which is essential for immunological regulation, is triggered by IFN-gamma through its interaction with the heterodimeric receptor. IFN-gamma's ability to regulate inflammation, apoptosis, cytokine signaling, and cell proliferation through protein mediated signaling skills is crucial for maintaining immune vigilance and response mechanisms. The incorporation of IFN-gamma into our product is validated by protein quantitation using two independent methods: UV spectroscopy and RP-HPLC.

      Applications and Usage:

IFN-gamma Human is tailored for laboratory research, serving as a vital tool in elucidating immune mechanisms, exploring antiviral features, and unraveling tumor suppressor functions.

      Safety Information:

IFN-gamma Human is only intended to be used in laboratory research, in line with safety protocols. It emphasizes adherence to ethical and regulatory norms and is not designed for use as household chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agricultural goods, or food additives.

    • Introduction

A human infecting coronavirus (viral pneumonia) called 2019 novel coronavirus, 2019-nCoV was found in the fish market at the city of Wuhan, Hubei province of China on December 2019.

The 2019-nCoV shares an 87% identity to the 2 bat-derived severe acute respiratory syndrome 2018 SARS-CoV-2 located in Zhoushan of eastern China. 2019-nCoV has an analogous receptor-BD-structure to that of 2018 SARS-CoV, even though there is a.a. diversity so thus the 2019-nCoV might bind to ACE2 receptor protein (angiotensin-converting enzyme 2) in humans.

While bats are possibly the host of 2019-nCoV, researchers suspect that animal from the ocean sold at the seafood market was an intermediate host. RSCU analysis proposes that the 2019-nCoV is a recombinant within the viral spike glycoprotein between the bat coronavirus and an unknown coronavirus.

    • Introduction

Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 11 (CCL11) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as eotaxin. CCL11 selectively recruits eosinophils by inducing their chemotaxis, and therefore, is implicated in allergic responses. The effects of CCL11 are mediated by its binding to a G-protein-linked receptor known as a chemokine receptor. Chemokine receptors for which CCL11 is a ligand include CCR2, CCR3 and CCR5. The gene for human CCL11 (scya11) is encoded on three exons and is located on chromosome 17.

    • Introduction

Influenza-B virus is a genus in the virusfamily Orthomyxoviridae. The only species in this genus is called "Influenza B virus". Influenza B virus only infects humansand seals. This limited host range is apparently in contrast with those caused by the similar Influenza virus Aas both mutate by both genetic drift and reassortment. Influenza-B virus evolves slower than A viruses and faster than C viruses. Influenza-B virus mutates at a rate 2-3 times lower than type A. However, influenza B mutates enough that lasting immunity is not possible. The Influenza B virus capsidis enveloped while its virionconsists of a matrix protein + envelope + nucleoprotein complex + nucleocapsid, and a polymerasecomplex. Influenza B is sometimes spherical and sometimes filamentous. Its 500 or so surface projections are made of hemagglutinin and neuraminidase. The Influenza B virus is 14648 nucleotideslong and consists of eight segments of linear negative-sense, single-stranded RNA. The multipartite genome is encapsidated, each segment in a separate nucleocapsid, and the nucleocapsids are surrounded by one envelope.

    • Introduction

Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 10 (CXCL10) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. CXCL10 is secreted by several cell types. These cell types include monocytes, endothelial cells and fibroblasts. CXCL10 has been attributed to several roles, such as chemoattraction for monocytes and T cells, promotion of T cell adhesion to endothelial cells, antitumor activity, and inhibition of bone marrow colony formation and angiogenesis. The gene for CXCL10 is located on human chromosome 4 in a cluster among several other CXC chemokines. This chemokine elicits its effects by binding to the cell surface chemokine receptor CXCR3. The three-dimensional crystal structure of this chemokine has been determined under 3 different conditions to a resolution of up to 1.92A.

    • Introduction

Casein Kinase 2 beta (CSNK2B) is a ubiquitous Ser/Thr kinase expressed in all eukaryotes. CSNK2Bis atetramer comprised of 2 catalytic kinase domains, alpha subunits and 2 identical regulatory beta subunits.CSNK2Btakes part incell cycle control, DNA repair, regulation of the circadian rhythm and other cellularprocesses. The beta subunit itself confers stability to the CK2 alpha subunitand is involved in activity and substrate specificity but does not have kinase activity.

    • Introduction

"Epiregulin is part of the EGF family. Epiregulin functions as a ligand of EGFR, as well as a ligand of most members of the ERBB (v-erb-b2 oncogene homolog) family of tyrosine-kinase receptors.Epiregulin is expressed mostly in the placenta and peripheral blood leukocytes and in specific carcinomas of the bladder, lung, kidney and colon. Epiregulin stimulates the proliferation of keratinocytes, hepatocytes, fibroblasts and vascular smooth muscle cells. Epiregulin inhibits the growth of several tumor-derived epithelial cell lines. Human Epiregulin is initially synthesized as a glycosylated 19.0 kDa transmembrane precursor protein, which is processed by proteolytic cleavage to produce a 6.0 kDa mature secreted sequence."

    • Introduction

Regulated upon Activation, Normal T-cell Expressed, and Secreted or RANTES is an 8 kDa protein classified as a chemotactic cytokine or chemokine. It has recently been renamed CCL5. RANTES is chemotactic for T cells, eosinophils and basophils and plays an active role in recruiting leukocytes into inflammatory sites. With the help of particular cytokines (i.e. IL-2 and IFN-?) that are released by T cells, RANTES also induces the proliferation and activation of certain natural killer (NK) cells to form CHAK (CC-Chemokine-activated killer) cells. It is also a HIV-suppressive factor released from CD8+ T cells. This chemokine has been localized to chromosome 17 in humans.

    • Synonyms

      Small inducible cytokine A5, CCL5, T-cell-specific RANTES protein, SIS-delta, T cell- specific protein P228, TCP228, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 5, SISd, SCYA5, RANTES, D17S136E, MGC17164.

    • Physical Appearance

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

    • Stability

Lyophilized Mouse Rantes although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Mouse CCL5 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

    • Solubility

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Rantes in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
