    • Introduction

HIV-1, the causative agent of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), contains an RNA genome which produces a chromosomally integrated DNA during the replicative cycle. Activation of HIV-1 gene expression by the transactivator Tat is dependent on an RNA regulatory element (TAR) located downstream of the transcription initiation site. TARDBP is a transcriptional repressor which binds to chromosomally integrated TAR DNA and represses HIV-1 transcription. In addition, TARDBP regulates alternate splicing of the CFTR gene. A similar pseudogene is present on chromosome 20.

    • Synonyms

      TAR DNA-binding protein 43, TDP-43, TARDBP, TDP43, ALS10.

    • Physical Appearance

      Sterile filtered colorless solution.

    • Immunogen

Anti-human TARDBP mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human TARDBP amino acids 1-260 purified from E. coli.

    • Ig Subclass

Mouse IgG1 heavy chain and κ light chain.

    • Clone

      Pk1B8AT.

    • Applications

TARDBP antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot, FACS and immunohistochemistry analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results.

    • Type

      Mouse Anti Human Monoclonal.

    • Storage Procedures

For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.

    • Introduction

Prolactin-inducible protein (PIP) is a main protein component of benign breast gross cysts. PIP is a famous indicator of breast cancer, since it is found in around 50% of all breast cancer specimens. PIP is expressed in exocrine glands, in pathologic conditions, in breast cysts and breast cancers exhibiting apocrine features. PIP and prostate specific antigen are co-expressed in androgen receptor-positive breast tumours.

    • Introduction

The Argonaute protein is part of the RISC or RNA-induced silencing complex, as so, the protein has a key part in the slicing processes of RNA. The RNA interference (RNAi) is being held by RISC. Small non-coding RNA fragments bond to the Argonaute proteins, through base pairing, eventually leads to the cleavage of messenger RNA or translation suppression.

    • Introduction

Syntaxin 4 (STX4) is a member of the syntaxin/epimorphin family of proteins. The Syntaxin family is cellular receptors for transport vesicles which participate in exocytosis in neutrophils. Syntaxin 4 is vital for normal regulation of glucose metabolism uptake in skeletal muscle and decline in STX4 protein levels lead to reduction of whole-body hormone-stimulated glucose metabolism. STX4 is expressed in neutrophils and neutrophil-differentiated HL-60 cells. The STX4 expression in neutrophils increases with differentiation.

    • Introduction

Borrelia belongs to a genus of bacteria of the spirochete phylum. Borrelia causes borreliosis, which is a zoonotic, vector-borne disease transmitted mainly by ticks and some by lice, depending on the species. Of the 36 known species of Borrelia, 12 are distinguished to cause Lyme disease or borreliosis and are transmitted by ticks. The main Borrelia species causing Lyme disease are Borrelia burgdorferi, Borrelia afzelii, and Borrelia garinii. The Borrelia genus members have a linear chromosome which is about 900 kbp in length as well as an excess of both linear and circular plasmids in the 5-220 kbp size range. The plasmids are atypical, as compared to most bacterial plasmids, since they contain many paralogous sequences, a large number of pseudogenes and, in some cases, essential genes. Moreover, a number of the plasmids have features suggesting that they are prophages.

    • Introduction

A human infecting coronavirus (viral pneumonia) called 2019 novel coronavirus, 2019-nCoV was found in the fish market at the city of Wuhan, Hubei province of China on December 2019.The 2019-nCoV shares an 87% identity to the 2 bat-derived severe acute respiratory syndrome 2018 SARS-CoV-2 located in Zhoushan of eastern China. 2019-nCoV has an analogous receptor-BD-structure to that of 2018 SARS-CoV, even though there is a.a. diversity so thus the 2019-nCoV might bind to ACE2 receptor protein (angiotensin-converting enzyme 2) in humans. While bats are possibly the host of 2019-nCoV, researchers suspect that animal from the ocean sold at the seafood market was an intermediate host. RSCU analysis proposes that the 2019-nCoV is a recombinant within the viral spike glycoprotein between the bat coronavirus and an unknown coronavirus.

    • Introduction

STIP1 is an adaptor protein that mediates the functions of HSP70 & HSP90 in protein folding. STIP1 supports the transfer of proteins from HSP70 to HSP90 by binding together HSP90 and substrate-bound HSP70. STIP1 stimulates the ATPase activity of HSP70 and inhibits the ATPase activity of HSP90, suggesting that it regulates both the conformations and ATPase cycles of these chaperones. STIP1 genetic variations are involved in regulating corticosteroid response in asthmatic subjects with reduced lung function.

    • Introduction

The secreted polypeptide noggin, encoded by the NOG gene, binds and inactivates members of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily signaling proteins, such as bone morphogenetic protein-4 (BMP4). By diffusing through extracellular matrices more efficiently than members of the TGF-beta superfamily, noggin may have a principal role in creating morphogenic gradients. Noggin appears to have pleiotropic effect, both early in development as well as in later stages. It was originally isolated from Xenopus based on its ability to restore normal dorsal-ventral body axis in embryos that had been artificially ventralized by UV treatment. The results of the mouse knockout of noggin suggest that it is involved in numerous developmental processes, such as neural tube fusion and joint formation. Recently, several dominant human NOG mutations in unrelated families with proximal symphalangism (SYM1) and multiple synostoses syndrome (SYNS1) were identified; both SYM1 and SYNS1 have multiple joint fusion as their principal feature, and map to the same region (17q22) as NOG. All NOG mutations altered evolutionarily conserved amino acid residues. The amino acid sequence of human noggin is highly homologous to that of Xenopus, rat and mouse.

    • Introduction

Maltose Binding Protein (MBP) is a part of the maltose/maltodextrin system of Eschericia coli bacteria, which is responsible for the uptake and efficient catabolism of maltodextrins. It is a complex regulatory and transport system involving many proteins and protein complexes.
Maltose binding protein MalE,MBP, is part of the maltodextrin transport system in E. coli. The maltodextrins diffuse through the LamB pore located in the outer membrane into the periplasm. The sugar is bound to MalE which prevents it to diffuse back outside. MalE passes the sugar to a complex of MalF and MalG in the cytoplasmic membrane where active tranport is mediated by the ATPase MalK. MBP molecular weight is 40,622 dalton. There are two domains in the protein with similar secondary structure (central pleated sheets are surrounded by helices) . The domains are connected by three bridges, between the domains is a deep groove in which the sugar is bound. All hydroxyl groups of the sugar are fixed by sidechains of the protein by hydrogen bonds. Some water molecules are part of the hydrogen bridge network.

    • Stability

Store unopened antibody at 4°C or lower. Under these conditions, there is no significant loss in product performance one year from the purchase date. • Introduction

A human infecting coronavirus (viral pneumonia) called 2019 novel coronavirus, 2019-nCoV was found in the fish market at the city of Wuhan, Hubei province of China on December 2019.

The 2019-nCoV shares an 87% identity to the 2 bat-derived severe acute respiratory syndrome 2018 SARS-CoV-2 located in Zhoushan of eastern China.

CD40 is part of the TNF-receptor superfamily. CD40 is a necessary mediator for vast range of immune and inflammatory responses together with T cell-dependent immunoglobulin class switching, memory B cell growth, and germinal center formation. The transcription factor AKNA regulates the expression of CD40 and its ligand, which is vital for homotypic cell interactions. Adaptor protein TNFR2 interacts with CD40 and serves as a mediator of the signal transduction. The interaction of CD40 and its ligand is crucial for amyloid-beta-induced microglial activation, and thus is thought to be an early event in Alzheimer disease pathogenesis. CD40 is the receptor for TNFSF5/CD40L.
