Introduction
The Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), also called Human herpes virus 4 (HHV-4), is a virusof the herpes family (which includes Herpes simplex virusand Cytomegalo virus. On infecting the B-lymphocyte, the linear virus genome circularizes and the virus subsequently persists within the cell as an episome. The virus can execute several distinct programs of gene expressionwhich can be broadly categorized as being lytic cycle or latent cycle. The lytic cycleor productive infection results in staged expression of a host of viral proteinswith the ultimate objective of producing infectious virions. Formally, this phase of infection does not inevitably lead to lysis of the host cellas EBV virions are produced by budding from the infected cell. The latent cycle(lysogenic) programs are those that do not result in production of virions. A very limited, distinct set of viral proteins are produced during latent cycle infection. These include Epstein-Barr nuclear antigen(EBNA)-1, EBNA-2, EBNA-3A, EBNA-3B, EBNA-3C, EBNA-leader protein (EBNA-LP) and latent membrane proteins(LMP)-1, LMP-2A and LMP-2B and the Epstein-Barr encoded RNAs(EBERs).

Introduction
A human infecting coronavirus (viral pneumonia) called 2019 novel coronavirus, 2019-nCoV was found in the fish market at the city of Wuhan, Hubei province of China on December 2019.
The 2019-nCoV shares an 87% identity to the 2 bat-derived severe acute respiratory syndrome 2018 SARS-CoV-2 located in Zhoushan of eastern China. 2019-nCoV has an analogous receptor-BD-structure to that of 2018 SARS-CoV, even though there is a.a. diversity so thus the 2019-nCoV might bind to ACE2 receptor protein (angiotensin-converting enzyme 2) in humans.
While bats are possibly the host of 2019-nCoV, researchers suspect that animal from the ocean sold at the seafood market was an intermediate host. RSCU analysis proposes that the 2019-nCoV is a recombinant within the viral spike glycoprotein between the bat coronavirus and an unknown coronavirus.

Background
Parvoviruses, small single-stranded DNA viruses, are known for their remarkable stability and diverse host range, causing infections in various animals, including humans. One of the key structural proteins in parvoviruses is VP2, a capsid protein responsible for viral entry and immune recognition. The study of Parvovirus VP2 Recombinant Protein has opened avenues for unraveling the intricacies of viral pathogenesis, host interactions, and has even spurred the development of innovative antiviral therapeutics. This research delves into the significance of Parvovirus VP2 Recombinant Protein, exploring its structural characteristics, functional roles, and its implications in both virology and therapeutic research.
Structural Insights into VP2 Protein:
VP2, forming the viral capsid, is pivotal for parvovirus infectivity. Its unique structural features, including distinct domains responsible for receptor binding and viral entry, provide valuable insights into the viral lifecycle. Understanding the three-dimensional structure of VP2, both in its native form and as a recombinant protein, sheds light on viral assembly, stability, and the mechanisms behind host specificity.
Functional Roles in Viral Pathogenesis:
VP2 plays a central role in determining tissue tropism and immune recognition. Its interactions with host cell receptors influence viral entry, replication, and spread. Additionally, VP2 is a target for neutralizing antibodies, making it a key player in the host immune response. By deciphering VP2's functions, researchers gain crucial knowledge about parvovirus pathogenesis, aiding in the development of antiviral strategies and vaccines.
VP2 Recombinant Protein as a Research Tool:
Recombinant VP2 proteins serve as invaluable tools in virological research. They enable scientists to study viral entry mechanisms, receptor interactions, and immune responses in a controlled laboratory setting. Introduction
Since April 2012, cases of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) have been identified in various countries. Coronaviruses are the cause of the common cold, SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) and other severe illnesses with high mortality rates, all are classified into coronavirus family. MERS-CoV is a new type of SARS found in the coronavirus family causing severe pneumonia with sudden and serious respiratory illness with high mortality rates as well. Since January 27th 2015, the WHO has reported 956 human cases, including 351 deaths. More cases of the new coronavirus strain are expected. Like in other coronaviruses, large surface spike glycoprotein is a central structural protein of this virus; it is located above the virion surface to bind and enter into the target cell. Spike protein has 2 domains- S1 and S2. The S1 domain is responsible for cellular tropism and interaction with target cell, while the S2 domain is responsible for membrane fusion. The C-terminal of S1 domain contains a receptor binding domain, and is also a potential target for vaccine development and an antigen for diagnosis.

Introduction
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a retrovirusthat can lead to a condition in which the immune systembegins to fail, leading to opportunistic infections. HIV primarily infects vital cells in the humanimmune systemsuch as helper T cells(specifically CD4+ T cells), macrophagesand dendritic cells. HIV infection leads to low levels of CD4+ T cells through three main mechanisms: firstly, direct viral killing of infected cells; secondly, increased rates of apoptosisin infected cells; and thirdly, killing of infected CD4+ T cells by CD8 cytotoxic lymphocytesthat recognize infected cells. When CD4+ T cell numbers decline below a critical level, cell-mediated immunityis lost, and the body becomes progressively more susceptible to opportunistic infections. HIV was classified as a member of the genus Lentivirus, part of the family of Retroviridae. Lentiviruses have many common morphologies and biological properties. Many species are infected by lentiviruses, which are characteristically responsible for long-duration illnesses with a long incubation period. Lentiviruses are transmitted as single-stranded, positive-sense, enveloped RNA viruses. Upon entry of the target cell, the viral RNA genomeis converted to double-stranded DNAby a virally encoded reverse transcriptasethat is present in the virus particle. This viral DNA is then integrated into the cellular DNA by a virally encoded integraseso that the genome can be transcribed. Once the virus has infected the cell, two pathways are possible: either the virus becomes latentand the infected cell continues to function, or the virus becomes active and replicates, and a large number of virus particles are liberated that can then infect other cells.

Introduction
CMV belongs to the Betaherpesvirinae subfamily of Herpesviridae which includes herpes simplex virustypes 1 and 2, varicella-zoster virus, and Epstein-Barrvirus. The herpesviruses share a characteristic ability to remain latentover long periods. CMV is a double-stranded linear DNA virus with 162 hexagonal protein capsomeres surrounded by a lipid membrane. CMV has the largest genome of the herpes viruses, ranging from 230-240 kilobase pairs. Human CMV is composed of unique and inverted repeats that include the existence of 4 genome isomers caused by inversion of L-S genome components (class E). Replication may be divided into immediate early, delayed early, and late gene expression based on time of synthesis after infection. The DNA is replicated by rolling circles. In vitro, CMV replicates in human fibroblasts.

Introduction
Hepatitis B virus is the main cause for human liver disease, chronic infection frequently causes liver cancer and cirrhosis. The HBV core gene codes 2 distinct protein products, a 21.5-kDa protein being assembled to form nucleocapsid particles designated HBcAg, which wraps the viral DNA as well as the viral polymerase and RNase H, and a precore protein, designated as HBeAg, which is directly to the endoplasmic reticulum, processed at N- and C-terminally and secreted as non-particulate e-anitgen (HBeAg). The pre-core protein contains an extra 29 N-terminal amino acids, serving as a signal peptide to direct the nascent polypeptide into secretory pathway. After the secretion, mature HBeAg is deleted at the residue 149 C-terminally and retains 10 precore residues N-terminally. HBcAg and HBeAg are distinctly recognized by antibodies but highly cross-reactive at the T-cell level.
The e antigen is found in the circulation, it is found during the active HBV infection, positive result indicates the risk for contagiousness, and is also used as indicator for the effectiveness of HBV treatment. Positive anti-HBeAg specifies an active stage of acute HBV infection that is in its final stages, the risk for contagiousness is dramatically reduced. -

Introduction
HCV is a small 50nm, enveloped, single-stranded, positive sense RNAvirus in the family Flaviviridae.
HCV has a high rate of replication with approximately one trillion particles produced each day in an infected individual. Due to lack of proofreading by the HCV RNA polymerase, the HCV has an exceptionally high mutation rate, a factor that may help it elude the host's immune response. Hepatitis C virus is classified into six genotypes(1-6) with several subtypes within each genotype. The preponderance and distribution of HCV genotypes varies globally. Genotype is clinically important in determining potential response to interferon-based therapy and the required duration of such therapy. Genotypes 1 and 4 are less responsive to interferon-based treatment than are the other genotypes (2, 3, 5 and 6). -

Background
Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1 (HIV1) is the causative agent of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), a devastating disease that affects millions of people worldwide. The HIV1 life cycle is a complex process involving several key viral enzymes, one of which is the integrase (IN). HIV1 integrase plays a crucial role in viral replication by catalyzing the integration of viral DNA into the host cell genome, an essential step for the establishment of a persistent infection.
The study of HIV1 integrase has been of great interest to researchers due to its significance as a therapeutic target. In recent years, advances in recombinant DNA technology have allowed for the production and purification of HIV1 integrase in recombinant form, enabling detailed structural and functional studies. This research aims to characterize the HIV1 integrase recombinant and gain insights into its mechanisms of action during viral integration.
The first objective of this study is to express and purify recombinant HIV1 integrase using various expression systems such as bacterial, yeast, or mammalian cell-based systems. Recombinant DNA techniques, including cloning and expression vector design, will be employed to generate the desired constructs for protein production. The recombinant integrase will be purified using affinity chromatography, followed by characterization using biochemical and biophysical techniques.
The second objective is to investigate the enzymatic activity of the purified HIV1 integrase recombinant. In vitro assays will be performed to determine its ability to catalyze the integration of viral DNA into target DNA sequences. Various substrates, including oligonucleotides and plasmids, will be used to assess the substrate specificity and kinetics of the integrase enzyme. Furthermore, the effects of potential inhibitors or small molecules on the enzymatic activity will be evaluated.
The third objective is to elucidate the three-dimensional structure of the HIV1 integrase recombinant using techniques such as X-ray crystallography or cryo-electron microscopy. This structural information will provide valuable insights into the mechanism of integrase function and aid in the rational design of novel inhibitors targeting integrase.
By characterizing the HIV1 integrase recombinant, this research aims to contribute to our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying viral integration. The findings from this study may provide crucial information for the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting HIV1 integrase, potentially leading to the discovery of more effective antiretroviral drugs.

Introduction
HBsAg is the surface antigen of the Hepatitis-B-Virus (HBV). The capsid of a virus has different surface proteins from the rest of the virus. The antigen is a protein that binds specifically on one of these surface proteins and is commonly referred to as the Australian Antigen. HBsAg is an essential parameter to diagnose hepatitis B disease in the clinic and to monitor antiviral treatment.
