Introduction

E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF4 (RNF4) contains a RING finger motif and functions as a transcription regulator. RNF4 interacts with, and inhibits the activity of, TRPS1, a transcription suppressor of GATA-mediated transcription. Transcription repressor ZNF278/PATZ also interacts with the RNF4 protein thus reducing the enhancement of androgen receptor-dependent transcription mediated by RNF4. RNF4 is broadly expressed at low levels in many tissues and highly expressed in the testis.

Description

RNF4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 213 amino acids (1-190 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 23.7kDa.
RNF4 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Source

Escherichia Coli.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

Formulation

RNF4 protein solution (0.5mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.5), 0.2M NaCl, 30% glycerol and 1mM DTT.

Stability

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
