Synonyms
RAB17 member RAS oncogene family, ras-related protein Rab-17, FLJ12538.
Introduction
RAB17 is a member of the small GTPase superfamily which are found in several intracellular compartments and have a significant regulatory part in membrane trafficking. RAB17 regulates traffic through the apical recycling endosome, which indicates that RAB17 has a role in polarized arrangement in epithelial cells.
Description
RAB17 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 232 amino acids (1-212) and having a molecular mass of 25.6 kDa.
The RAB17 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
