Introduction
Haptoglobin-Related
Protein also known as HPR, is a primate-specific plasma protein related with
apolipoprotein L-I (apoL-I)-containing high-density lipoprotein (HDL) particles
which shown to be a part of the innate immune defense. HPR-bound hemoglobin might
contribute to the biologic activity of the circulating apoL-I/Hprcontaining HDL
particles. HPR is a clinically significant forecaster of recurrence of breast
cancer.
Description
HPR Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,
non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 352 amino acids (20-348 a.a) and
having a molecular mass of 39.3kDa.
HPR is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus
& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Source
Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Formulation
HPR protein solution (0.5mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.5), 20% glycerol 1mM DTT and 0.15M NaCl.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please avoid freeze thaw cycles.
