Description

The ESR2 Human is created as a recombinant protein with a 4kda N-terminal fusion of His Tag. The ESR2 His-Tagged Fusion Protein, produced in E. coli, is a 10kDa protein containing 101 amino acid residues of the ESR2 Human, 216-316 amino acids.

Source

Escherichia Coli.

Physical Appearance

Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Formulation

Each mg was lyophilized with 1xPBS, 0.4% SDS and 4mM DTT.

Solubility

It is recommended to add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Product is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it on cell culture.

Stability

Store lyophilized ESR2 at -20°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4°C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4°C.

Background

Estrogen Receptor 2 also known as ESR2 takes part in mediating the biological effects of estrogen, influencing various physiological and pathological processes. ESR2 is found in different tissues including the brain, reproductive organs, bones, cardiovascular system, and immune cells and has distinct functions. ESR2 is involved in various biological processes by responding to estrogen which is an important hormone in regulating reproductive and metabolic functions.
