Introduction
Seed storage proteins have been identified as major allergens in several other tree nuts and peanut. 2S albumin Cor a 14.0101 is a seed storage protein in hazelnut. Sensitization to Cor a 14.0101 may cause a severe allergic reaction, mainly in children.
Description
Recombinant 2S albumin produced in SF9 is a glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a calculated molecular mass of 14kDa.
Cor a 14.0101 is expressed with a 6xHis tag and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
Cor a 14.0101 is supplied in 20mM HEPES buffer pH-8.0, 200mM NaCl and 20% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 80.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
