Introduction
Art v 1, Artemisia vulgaris (mugwort) is a common weed in the Mediterranean area. The significant allergen of mugwort pollen, is a secreted modular glycoprotein with a N-terminal defensin-like and a C-terminal hydroxyproline-rich domain. The reactivity of IgE antibodies is primarily aimed to epitopes located in the N-terminal domain.

Art v 1 is expressed with a 5xHis tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
