Synonyms
Ras association domain-containing protein 3, RASSF3.
Introduction
Ras association domain-containing protein 3 (RASSF3) is a ubiquitously expressed protein found in normal and cancerous tissues. RASSF3 is a member of RASSF family whose members contain a highly conserved Ras association domain (Ral GDS/AF-6 or RA) and function as Ras effectors/tumor suppressors. RASSF3 contains an N-terminal RA domain and a coiled-coil SARAH domain and may have 3 isoforms (RASSF3A, RASSF3B and RASSF3C) due to alternative splicing. RASSF3B and RASSF3C are shorter than RASSF3A and do not contain the RA and SARAH domain.
Description
RASSF3 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 261 amino acids (1-238a.a) and having a molecular mass of 30kDa. RASSF3 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
