Introduction
HOXB13 is a transcription factor and a member of the homeobox gene family which are extremely conserved in vertebrates and vital for vertebrate embryonic development. HOXB13 is involved in fetal skin development and cutaneous regeneration. In mice, a similar gene displayed temporal and spatial colinearity in the main body axis of the embryo, however it was not expressed in the secondary axes, implying that it has a roles in body patterning along the axis.
Description
HOXB13 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 307 amino acids (1-284 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 33.1kDa.
HOXB13 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Source
Escherichia Coli.
